The experience includes visiting the Giza Necropolis, the famous Egyptian site home to the three Great Pyramids.

As the experience continues, guests navigate the tranquil waters of the Nile, witness mummification ceremonies, and attend the funeral of King Khufu, the visionary behind the Pyramids of Giza.

My Review of Horizon of Khufu: An Immersive VR Expedition to Ancient Egypt

Lauren and I had the opportunity to experience an expedition to ancient Egypt 4500 years ago, which was cool to see. The graphics make you feel like you're in Egypt with 360 views.

We simply put on VR headsets and were whisked away by a couple of virtual tour guides who guided us through the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The virtual reality space spans more than 10,000 square feet, so you're walking around exploring the forbidden corridors in a huge room.

The expedition is a 45-minute walking tour, so I suggest dressing comfortably and wearing comfortable shoes.

Also, since you are wearing a headset, I don't recommend wearing a hat or head wraps.

You can bring a small bag like a purse in the experience, but if you want to avoid carrying things, there are lockers available.

My daughter Lauren wears glasses, so I was nervous that the headset would not fit over her glasses, but the good thing is the staff helped fit the headset correctly to accommodate her.

I would not recommend this virtual experience for those with claustrophobia. People prone to motion sickness may also experience discomfort when using a VR headset. This could lead to symptoms like drowsiness, increasing the risk of injury during real-world activities.

Another thing I do not recommend is to wear a full face of makeup. I wore a full face of foundation and got makeup all over the headset, and my face had half of my makeup off, with a line imprint where my headset was. I looked like a mess!
