Tips on Reversing Skin Damage Using These Products from DERMA-E

Summer sure did a number on my skin, making it look dull, dry, ashy, and flaky.    Not to mention those pesky breakouts from my skin being clogged for wearing makeup during the sweltering heat.

To recover from the heat damage, I went to one of my top favorite skincare brands to undo the casualty of my negligence of not protecting my skin from the heat.  Also, not staying hydrated.  Remember my discussion with my hairstylist saying I'm not drinking enough water?  Well, it showed with my skin too.

You got to take care of your insides as well as out to maintain a healthy glow, a skincare product can only do so much.

So yes, drinking water, having a healthy diet, staying active, can make a massive difference with your skin complexion.

With me doing better with my diet, I needed to buff away the dead summer skin. So during the fall and winter months, I would have a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance.  And with a smoother canvas, my makeup application will look flawless too.

And by the way, I have once again changed the makeup foundation I wear.  I'm now wearing Lancome.  I'll share why I change from Fenty to Lancome soon.

I speak about DERMA-E Essentials so much on Product Review Mom, it's just that they're products are so good!  I love the fact that their skincare line is:

  • 100% Vegan
  • GMO-Free
  • Cruelty-Free
  • Eco-Ethical

DERMA-E is the proven clean beauty that you feel good using knowing that they don't use harsh chemicals in their products, and plus their skincare line works well for all skin types.

These are the two DERMA-E skincare products I use to help bring my skin back to life.

DERMA-E Overnight Peel

DERMA-E Overnight Peel-  When I think of peels, I think of a product that I apply to my skin, then peel it off.  But with this overnight peel, it is nothing like that.

The Overnight Peel has alpha-hydroxy acids that are non-abrasive, revealing a much vibrant appearance the next morning.

How I use DERMA-E Overnight Peel

1. First, I washed my face with real black soap to deeply remove away makeup and any impurities.

2. Next, I use Micellar Water to wipe away whatever is left on my face.

3. Lastly, I apply the Overnight Peel, which is like a light cream all over my face.  I can feel the tingle that lets me know that the peel is immediately going to work deeply in my pores.

The next morning, I wash my face, and instantly I notice how bright and smooth my skin looks.  Any ance I had on my face the previous day is minimized thanks to this peel.

I use the Overnight Peel 1 to 2 times a week, depending on if my skin needs extra attention.

DERMA-E Microdermabrasion Scrub

DERMA-E Microdermabrasion Scrub-  This scrub is like heaven in a jar!  It'll have your skin looking correct after one use!  It's not like one of those scrubs that do more harm to the skin than good, by putting your skin in shock.

The Microdermabrasion Scrub is a fine-textured crystal blend that buffs away dullness, and smooths the look of fine lines, wrinkles, roughness, and acne scars.  After use, the skin comes out fresh and radiant.

After deep cleaning my skin, I use to scrub to whisk away dead skin left behind.  I like to use this scrub in between uses of the Overnight Peel.  I use the scrub about twice a week.
