Aye, me hearties!  Dolly has been a busy bee continuing building her growing empire.  Last month, Dolly opened up her massive new land at Dollywood, and now she has another dinner show under her belt, Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show in Pigeon Forge Tennessee.

Pirates Voyage is located right in the heart of The Island in Pigeon Forge, a playful destination featuring unique shops, casual restaurants, and amusement rides.  This dinner show fits right in perfectly with the sea adventure theme.

I was invited to attend the official opening, and Dolly herself was on-hand to share about her new exciting venture.  It's like there is no stopping her.  She is a dreamer, always making sure her dreams come to reality.  She is thankful for all the blessings upon her, grateful to be able to share them with her people in the Great Smoky Mountains and fans.

The show is cast of more than two dozen aerialist, divers, dancers, and singers.  And just like the Dolly Parton Stampede Dinner and Show we visited during spring break, the adventure starts the minute you arrive inside.  It's best to visit an hour before the show begins at the Pirates Village.

First, you'll get your picture taken with a cool pirates background, next while you wait you can order drinks and snacks, play fun board games, see live entertainment pre-show, also, younger swashbucklers, as well as parents and grandparents, can “Join the Crew” and be transformed into mermaids and pirates before the main show begins.

The dinner and show truly is an incredible adventure with sword fights, cannons, and pirates scaling high above two pirate ships fighting to win Davy Jones’ coveted sunken treasure. A rowdy crew of characters combines heroics and high-flying fun that will have guests cheering and experiencing thrills around every corner in an epic battle for lost treasure on land, on deck, and in the water of the show’s 15-foot-deep indoor lagoon.

The highlight of my time at Pirates Voyage was getting a chance to ask Dolly a question!  OMG, being able to speak and see legendary Miss Dolly is such an incredible honor!

The Pirates Voyage is spectacular!  From the set design, the performances, friendly wait staff, and crowd participation, it is such a thrilling experience!  You got to see it!  You'll feel like you stepped foot inside a pirate ship ready to set sail on a quest to find the hidden treasures.

    1. These dinner shows are so much fun! There isn't any shows like these in Atlanta, but I love the fact that these dinner shows are not too far away from me. If you ever visit Pigeon Forge make sure to visit these dinner shows with your family.
