Elina Organics Activated Honey Peel Review

Elina Organics Activated Honey Peel Review

Not only am I on a health and wellness journey, but I'm also on a journey to improve the hyperpigmentation on my face. From my teenage years to middle age, I've been having problems with discoloration due to acne scars. And, to hide the dark marks, I would cover them up with makeup without using any kinds of moisturizers or SPF underneath.

So, without the protection underneath my makeup all these years, it was causing my pores to become clogged, uneven skin tone, and be very dry. Now, in my late 30's, the damage started to show.

Poor health and diet, plus not using the protective facial products, wreak havoc on my skin. However, it was not until I became more strict on a daily face care routine that made a significant improvement.

Like everything in life, if you have a goal you want to achieve, you must be consistent. So I'm consistent with my business, exercise, diet, skin, which has paid off.

If you have been following me for a while, you saw that I had a chemical peel at the end of last year.

After my face had healed a month later, or so I thought it did, my skin was breaking out with pimple-like bumps like crazy! But, of course, it could have been because I returned to working out, the sweat could have blocked my pores, and my face became irritated again due to the fresh raw skin with salty sweat.

And, whenever I have any kinds of bumps on my face, it leaves a scar. So that chemical peel was just a waste, and I would never do it again!

But, I still did my 4 Step Skincare Routine morning and night:

1. Wash face

2. Toner

3. Serum

4. Moisturize

Adding Elina Organics Activated Honey Peel to my Skincare Routine

I added to my skincare routine using a product that helps uneven pigmentation from Elina Organics called Activated Honey Peel.

I know what you're thinking! Another peel! I thought you weren't doing peels anymore?

Indeed, I'm not doing any chemical peels, but this one doesn't make your skin peel after a couple of days and doesn't cause burning either.

The Activated Honey Peel helps treat conditions like Keratosis Pilaris (it's a condition that causes dry, rough patches and tiny bumps), plus uneven skin tone.

Elina Organics creates organic, hand-made skincare products that are 100% fresh, seasonal, transdermal, and cruelty-free.

Elina Fedotova formulated the Elina Organics line. As a formulator, Celebrity Esthetician, and Holistic Skin Care Educator, she believes deeply that organic skincare products can deliver dramatic and long-lasting results. What we put on our faces should be as safe and pure as the food we eat. It should be like a fresh meal for your face! After all, if a lotion isn't safe to eat - why would we think it is safe to put on our skin?

When I discovered that Elina Organics skincare products are used in spas, I was sold since I get professional facials monthly.

How Does Elina Organics Activated Honey Peel Work for my Skin?

At first, I thought the Activated Honey Peel would make my skin peel, so I wasn't even going to try it; however, it made my skin incredibly smooth, soft, and glowing.

The product is liquid and dispensed with a dropper. I pat the Activated Honey Peel with my fingertips evenly all over my face and use it as a serum.

The product is not sticky and without a pungent smell.

Within a day, I noticed a vast improvement in my skin. Plus, with continuous daily usage, my dark marks became lighter. Also, my skin looked brighter, feeling more firm, and I started looking younger.

It's incredible the rejuvenating effects of this product and how it soothes and smooths out my inflammation. No bumps in sight!

There is another way to use the Activated Honey Peel. It can be used over the skin for 2-3 minutes and then removed with water or herbal tea. I used it this way a couple of times, but I didn't notice much difference, so I continued wearing it as a serum under my moisturizer.

The Activated Honey Peel comes in a 2oz bottle and costs $68.

Yes, I know, it's an expensive little bottle, but it's well worth it if you're looking for guaranteed improvements with your skin. Plus, a little goes a long way, so it'll last you for quite some time.

  1. Lou! Thank you for your transparency in this review! I'm a 30-something who deals with hyperpigmentation as well, so I'm always curious about products that help with that. This serum looks like a winner. I'm about to go get familiar with the brand.

    Thanks for sharing!
