Our Stay at the Luxurious Riverstone Resort & Spa in Pigeon Forge, TN

Our Stay at the Luxurious Riverstone Resort & Spa in Pigeon Forge, TN

There are so many lodging options to choose from when visiting Pigeon Forge.  From budget-friendly hotels, luxurious resorts, spacious condos, and cozy cabins, it's hard to pick which one you'll like to spend your relaxing vacation in.

During our recent trip to the Smoky Mountains, I booked a lovely 2 bedroom condo at the Riverstone Resort & Spa.

Update- Riverstone Resort and Spa in Pigeon Forge with New Renovations

I've been eyeing this resort for quite some time now every time I visited Pigeon Forge.  I would drive past this private resort that nestled on a golf course and say that I would love to stay there on our next visit.  But, I wasn't willing to pay more than $150 a night and find out that the price wasn't even worth it.

I was on Priceline browsing through hotels to see what would pop up that had suites to have enough room for 4 people, plus our two guinea pigs.  I was coming up with the new Holiday Inn and Suites we stayed at last time, but I wanted to stay in something different.  I need more space and a couple of bathrooms.

During my search, I came across Riverstone Resort & Spa.  The price was out of my price range; it was over $250 a night, but I've been wanting to stay there for years, and only 1 two-bedroom condo was left, so I quickly booked a three-night stay.  Plus, they are pet-friendly as well (they only accept dogs, though).

Once we arrived at the resort, I checked in and made them aware that I have guinea pigs.  The staff told me that they only allow dogs but made the exception since our piggies are caged.  But, I did have to pay $25 extra a day for them and be put in a pet-friendly condo.

I was worried that the room wouldn't be as clean, but the staff member assured me that our condo will be spotless since housekeeping spends an extra hour cleaning pet-friendly rooms.

We got our room keys and headed to building 2 on the fifth floor.

We noticed the outdoor patio with an outdoor seating table and chairs with a ceiling fan when we got to our front door. Nice!  I guess those with dogs can leave them outside on the screen-in porch for fresh air.

But the wow factor didn't stop there!

Step inside, and the condominium is fully furnished with a stocked kitchen and with an elegant touch of mountain-inspired decor.  So warm and inviting, the condo is like a home, away from home— so much space for everyone to strength out and unwind.

There is plenty of things to do for the whole family at Riverstone Resort & Spa.  The resort amenities include a 24-hour clubhouse with a huge indoor pool with two hot tubs, a game room, and a gym.  Plus, the resort offers a full-service spa of replenishing treatments, including various massages, facials, and nail services.

Kids can play at the playground during the warmer months, and families can take a break at the lazy river.

And Riverstone Resort & Spa is centrally located next to top attractions like Dollywood, Dolly Parton's Stampede, Pigeon Forge strip of attractions, dining, and shops, plus close to Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

My daughters couldn't get enough of the resort, and neither could I!  It's clean, provides ample space, comfortable bedding, huge bathrooms, jacuzzi-style tubs in the master bedroom, and more!  We didn't want to leave!  Riverstone Resort & Spa is now our new favorite place to stay while visiting the Smoky Mountains!  Worth every penny spent!

  1. That condo is super nice. When I do family trips I tend to go for places like this vs hotels so we can all have our space to unwind and relax after the activities. Also, as a fur mom I love that they spend extra time cleaning the pet friendly lodging.
