Hey Yall! The girls and I had a fun evening last week of skin pampering and chat about taking care of our skin using green skincare products. We were invited to AILLEA, Atlanta Boutique to attend the Indie Lee Summer Beauty Soiree event to learn about this eco-chic beauty line.
After conquering a life-threatening brain tumor that pointed to environmental toxins as the culprit, Indie Lee awoke on April 22, 2009, with a new lease on life and the passion for creating a chic and eco-friendly namesake collection. Lately, I've been trying to get in the habit of using clean products on my skin, because these harsh chemicals are doing nothing more than ruining my delicate face and body. Also, I want my girls to start the habit now of using better-for-them skincare products too. As the saying goes, it's better to start early before it's too late when you get older.
Indie's co-owner Rebecca Gordon was at the event and gave my girls facials while helping them get similar with skin regimens and routines. With them being teens, Rebecca showed them ways to help simplify taking care of their face and body with the Indie Lee products. My girls hate routines when it comes to washing their face; they don't want to use a bunch of products, they're not going to remember all that. Plus, they are both like me wanting beauty products that will help their skin without unnatural ingredients.
While the girls were enjoying their facials and soaking in all the information Rebecca was sharing with them about skincare; I was admiring both of my beautiful girls, loving sharing these bonding moments with them. Having girls are so much fun!
I purchased a bunch of goodies for the three of us, and we'll have a pampering party of our own with the Indie Lee products.
Speaking of Indie Lee! Her products are effective, fresh, having our skin glowing and hydrated. The reason why I haven't started using green products sooner is that of price; they are higher when using real ingredients. I like the fact that Indie Lee is reasonably priced with products lasting for months which helps saves money. A little goes a long way! I just got to try not to be so heavy handed! 😅
