Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Show at Center for Puppetry Arts

Hey Yall!  I hope you all had a great weekend, despite all the emotions running high about Trump becoming president.  I'm telling ya; I had to take breaks from social media after the election results, just way too much for me to handle with all the hatred spewing across my timeline.  I'm already going through a lot in my life, and need uplifting, not all the hostility.

This past weekend was a fun one, my whole family got out the house and spent quality time together.  With this being the month of giving thanks, we have a lot to be thankful for, like having a home to call our own and Mr. M live to tell the tell of his car accident.  God is good!

Weekends are the times that Mr. M is busy working, so he usually is not with the girls and me on our all-girl adventures.  But with doctors orders for him to relax, he has been tagging along with us everywhere we go.

We even took him to catch a puppet show at the Center for Puppetry Arts to see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a few reindeer games! If you recall, Rudolph is the most famous reindeer of all, and he’s ready to help audiences embrace their inner misfit at the Center for Puppetry Arts this holiday season. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer ™, playing in the Mainstage Theater from November 8 – December 31, was adapted by Jon Ludwig and is directed by Tim Sweeney. Based on the timeless 1964 stop-motion animated television special, this must-see family favorite is filled with holly jolly adventure and excitement bound to bring joy to all this holiday season!

He didn't know what to expect going to the show, but the girls and I did since we took a trip there over the summer.

Just like I expected, the puppet show was adorable!  I felt like the 1964 Christmas stop-motion animated television special classic came to life right before my eyes!

And to be honest, I was not in the Christmas spirit before I attended this show, but afterward, it had me wanting to go home and break out the Christmas decorations.  I would have too if it weren't for us packing and moving.

Mr. M thought the puppetry show was entertaining and amazed how well the production was done.  And of course, the girls liked it as well.

The show was a crowd-pleaser having everyone cheering and at their feets.  Seeing all the glowing faces of little children in the crowd ready for the holiday season brought so much joy to my heart.  Reminds me when I was a child counting down the days until Christmas arrives so I can see what gifts Santa had brought me.
