Capturing Vegas

Hey Yall!  As many of you know, I recently traveled to Las Vegas twice, the beginning of this year, and last year in July.

Although my visit to Las Vegas both times were business trips, Mr. M and I managed to squeeze in some leisure time together.  Since we took these two trips without the girls, it's only right that we have some play time together.

It seems like with Vegas there is always a story to tell, the good, the bad, and the let just keep this amongst ourselves and not tell a soul.

I shared with you all both of my travel journeys to Vegas, what happened in Vegas was all shared on this blog. When I heard the insiders themselves, VisitLasVegas.com, was looking to #CaptureVegas I had to share my favorite Las Vegas moment!

On my travel bucket list, I want to visit overseas, and one of the places I would like to go to is Italy.  Las Vegas has hotels that resemble places in Europe, like The Venetian Hotel that replicates Italy.  When you walk through the hotel, you feel like you're taking a stroll in Italy, with the beautifully structured buildings, Grand Canal, many different eateries to choose from, and shops.

What I enjoyed the most about The Venetian Hotel was the gondola ride.  You step into a gondola, have a seat, and the gondolier sweeps you away down the canal while singing a beautiful song.  During the ride, you gracefully glide under bridges, float beside cafes, while taking in the breathtaking views of the Venetian streetscapes.  This boat ride was so romantic and relaxing; it was like love was in the air and the gondolier was cupid to set the mood.  I love snuggling up with my high school sweetheart.

If you're ever in Las Vegas, make sure to visit The Venetian Hotel with your love and do the gondola ride.  You have the option to choose the indoor, or outdoor ride, weather permitting.

Also, signing up for Las Vegas's website newsletter is a great source if you're interested in visiting Las Vegas, it'll help you plan your trip, as well as save you money.  There is something for everyone in Las Vegas, along with the gondola rides there are many other attractions to suit anyone's needs!

  3. Vegas is on my list of places to one day visit. I love that the guy sang to you on the gondola ride. That would have been fun for me and the Hubbs.
