We were provided free tickets to visit Georgia Aquarium's newest exhibits. |
Hey Yall! Even though I was in Orlando for a few days vacationing, my spring break didn't end there. When I got home, I rest up then took the girls to Georgia Aquarium to check out all their new latest exhibits.
If you haven't realized by now, I'm a big fan of aquariums. I must at least, visit them, no matter what location, a few times a year. Something about marine life fascinates me. Looking at all the different aquatic animals is memorizing, amazing, breathtaking. Now my girls have a love affair of aquariums too. When we're not visiting an aquarium, we still have our little goldies (well more like big goldies, our goldfish are huge) at home to love on.
Georgia Aquarium is celebrating their 10th anniversary, and with that, they have open several different attractions. WooHoo! More reason for me to visit the Georgia Aquarium!
And guess what? They have California sea lions! YAY! This brings back memories of when I was a child going on field trips to Pier 39 in San Francisco, and I would see these world famous sea lions laying on the docks sunbathing, and barking at each other. What a fun sight to see! Now I get to see them here in Atlanta when I'm not on the West Coast.
The 4D Funbelievable Theater reopened that was totally renovated. The 4D movie shows the characters from Happy Feet in viewing experience of 3D projection, sensor-equipped motion seats, snow and rain, simulations, environmental scents, bubbles, and an interactive pre-show. The 4D movie was one of my girls favorite attractions, along with seeing the sea lions.
Everywhere around us, there were new things to see and do in the aquarium, like the new dolphin presentation helping to get a deeper understanding about the Bottlenose dolphins, and new touch pools featuring rays and sharks. If you haven't been to the Georgia Aquarium recently, time to make a trip there soon.
