Thankful for Family and FabKids: Thanksgiving Recap

Hey Yall!  I have a lot to be thankful for this past year.  I have been blessed to experience things unimaginable thanks to being a blogger.  My girls are also grateful too because for the past year and a half they've been able to show off the latest in trending styles from FabKids.

The girls always look forward to modeling FabKids clothes to you each month, and I hope you've been enjoying it and finding adorable outfit ideas.

My daughters wanted to wear their latest outfits on Thanksgiving so they can show it off to their relatives.

The style for November that the girls chosen was hippy chic, a cool laid back look.  Both looks coordinate with each other with the same designs and colors, the perfect colors for fall.  The styles were comfortable for each of my daughters to play in with their cousins and enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving feast.

Lauren- Boho Love Babydoll Dress w/Leggings and Leopard Faux Fur Fuzzies

Lauren is showing peace and love realness with this outfit, and she paired it with comfy furry boots.  You may notice that her boots look familiar, and that's because Michelle wore these with a FabKids outfit in a previous month.  Lauren's dress is flowy, and she likes to give a little twirl in it.

Michelle- Heart Fringe Dolman Top w/Fab Boho Leggings and Glitter High Top Sneakers

Michelle's outfit is a little bit different than the clothes she usually picks since instead of getting a tunic she got a shirt with leggings.  With the latest trend being fringe, I love the fact that FabKids added it on the sleeves, it makes the outfit look very playful and stylish.  The hi-top shoes are super fashionable, and I'm surprised it was easy to put on since we have trouble with the last hi-tops Michelle picked out.   There was no problem with the glitter rubbing off and Michelle said it was comfortable to walk and play in.    The gold shoes will go with many of Michelle's clothes, so it'll get good use this holiday season.

Speaking of holiday season,  FabKids has holiday outfits for girls and boys.  You always see my daughters wearing casual outfits, but FabKids has more than just everyday clothes.  They're having sales now for Black Friday for VIPs so make sure to check their website out.  Take the quiz to see what FabKids holiday style is well suited for your child.

Our Thanksgiving day was spent at Mr. M's aunt and uncle's house.   We had a wonderful time breaking bread, playing family games, watching old family videos, and catching up on what everyone been doing for the past year or more.

Also, yay to me!  Grandma took the girls to her house for the weekend so Mr. M and I could do some Black Friday shopping and spend some time together minus the kids.

This is the second year we did Black Friday and Mr. M and I like to go when the crowd dies down.  We went to our local mall at 3 am and there were some people scattered around the mall but mostly teens just hanging out with friends not even buying anything.    Where are their parents?  Shouldn't they be in bed?

Is Black Friday even worth it?  I say, "Not really."  The reason I say this is because the sales were just okay and not worth waiting in line for.  I just like being in the atmosphere of it and making it into a date night with Mr. M.

However, if you ever do Black Friday and not looking for big ticket items, the best time to go is 3 am because a lot of the shoppers has already gone home.  But boy, when Cyber Monday comes, it's on and cracking with me, the best way to buy holiday gifts from the comfort of your home.

This weekend, I'll be enjoying this down time, catching up on some rest, and finish up some work because next weekend my family and I will be road tripping back to Memphis for my father's retirement party.  He'll be celebrating 29 years of service with the Air National Guard.
