The girls receive outfits monthly from FabKids to do a review.

Hey Yall!  Welcome to another edition of my girls’ FabKids monthly picks!  We are getting deep into the fall months, and the weather is getting a lot chiller, so FabKids clothing is much warmer but still bursting with a cute style that the kiddos feel good in and playful for all day of play.

With Lauren’s outfit, it may look similar to Michelle’s pick from last month because it is, the only difference is the colors.  Fringe is the rage this year and adults are not the only ones wearing fringe; young girls are too!  I want to get myself a pair of fringe boots too this season because they go with a lot of different outfits.

Michelle’s picks this month was a bit of a problem.  Her tunic sleeves were too long, and the tunic looked like it was swallowing her whole.  I guess the tunic runs big so it would’ve worked well for Lauren.  Another problem was her sneakers.  Her sneakers had elastic sew in bands instead of shoe laces, so it was hard for her to put on her shoes while taking them on and off at the Buford Corn Maze over the weekend.  What I may do is cut off the elastic bands and add shoe laces because these hi-top sneakers are way too cute to collect dust on her shoe rack.

Which outfit do you like?

The girls wanted to show off their latest outfits at Buford Corn Maze, and I thought that would be a great idea for photo ops.

Each year it is the girls and me family tradition to go to Buford Corn Maze and get lost finding to escape out of the maze, check out some farm animals, ride the hayride, swim in corn, and pick out some pumpkins.

Guess what!  For the first time, the girls and I made it out of the maze without cheating!  That’s a record!  Usually, we are scrambling around the maze trying to find the exit and after a couple of hours pass we just give up and cheat by cutting through the corn stocks.  There had been a couple of times when Michelle needed to use the restroom while we’re doing the maze that makes us have to cheat as well.  But this time we were more prepared and ready to face the 5-acre corn maze, and we succeeded!

After our fun-filled evening, we went to Buford Corn Maze pumpkin patch and picked out some pumpkins to decorate.  The girls’ choose a medium size pumpkin for carving and a small one to color on.

Carving pumpkins was our first time, and it’s harder than I thought, but I think we all did a good job.  Glad I purchased a pumpkin carving kit that made carving much easier.  The girls had a hard time, so they left the carving task for me.  So how do you think we did?  Which pumpkin is your favorite one?
