I was loaned the 2015 Kia Optima SX while I was in Las Vegas to do a review, all opinions are my own.

Hey yall!  Did you follow along my Instagram of my trip to Las Vegas?  Once again I was riding in style, this time in the 2015 Kia Optima SX, Kia’s midsize sedan.  Just look at this hot ride, isn't it a beauty?!

I knew I was in for a real treat with this car because I’ve driven Kia Optima’s plenty of times by renting them for vacation trips.  When the Kia Optima was delivered to me at the Las Vegas airport I was mesmerized by the sleek silver look; looked like a chromed out race car.  Riding around the Las Vegas strip in this Kia Optima had all eyes on me!

What I love about the Kia Optima is how roomy it is.  Although the girls were not with me on this trip they have been in the Kia Optima many times and it was enough room and leg room for them in the back seat.

The trunk is huge!  A lot of room for storage!  I placed my suitcase, laptop bag, backpack, and all the bags I received from the beauty event I attended in Las Vegas and there still was a lot of room left.

Sound system was incredible!  I had the Sirius XM radio blasting while rolling down Las Vegas Blvd.  It got me hyped up while in Vegas.

What will always be a favorite of mines about Kia’s cars is their safety features, like the backup camera that warns you if a car is coming behind you, side mirrors let you know if you have a car right beside you in your blind spot and it warns you not to change lanes by making a beeping sound and side mirrors will have a light indicator that will lit up.  Their cars will help you stay safe on the road and lower your chances of getting into an accident.

Everyone knows that Las Vegas is a hot place and getting in a hot car can be miserable!  The Kia Optima’s air conditioning kicks on fast and cools the car down quickly so you’ll be comfortable while driving in the heat.  Also the leather seats does not burn your skin, I remember back in the days when I hated to get in cars with leather seats in the summer, sit down and my skin would burn feeling like my skin is sizzling on a oven burner.  In the Kia Optima there is a button you can press to cool down the front seats as well as a button if you want the seats to be heated.

While in Las Vegas, Mr. M and I visited a lot of casinos which means parking the car in parking lots so it was great that the side mirrors automatically folds so no worrying about someone parking close next to us and bumping the side mirrors.  This has happened to me in the car I own now and I’m not too happy about it, people need to learn how to park!

Kia cars are very popular in Las Vegas, they’re everywhere!!!!  I seen the Kia Sedona van a lot that I reviewed earlier this month, the Kia Optima was the one I seen the most, and seen the Kia Sorentos and Kia Souls.

The Kia Optima is perfect for singles, couples, small families, teens, and college students.

You want to know why people are choosing to buy Kia’s?  It’s because they are luxurious, has a 5-Star safety ratings, and very affordable.  Don’t sleep on Kia, their cars are amazing, they’re taking over!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever driven a Kia vehicle before?  If so, which one?

  1. Hi Lou. ..
We rented the Kia Sorento (black) a week ago for our family vacation in Orlando, Florida. I wanted a vehicle which seated 4 people comfortably. My dad is 6'2 so he took the front seat with me.
I really liked this ride as it also had a third row of seats. The Kia drove so good and the gas mileage was so awesome. Even my parents were amazed at the gas consumption. Everything worked great and we loved the panel notification rear backing feature. The trunk space was very roomy for our luggage too. I would definitely rent another one for our next road trip. WE were all pleased.
