Easter Fun in FabKids Outfits

My girls receive monthly outfits from FabKids.com in exchange for my honest opinions.  Post also contains affiliate links.

It’s that time again yall!  The girls are showing off their fabulous monthly outfit picks they received from FabKids.com.  Although these are March picks I wanted my girls to wear them either on Easter or the day before.  I decided the day before since the girls went to an Easter Egg Hunt at the Mall of Georgia and I was going to be taking pictures during the event.

Both girls were little darlings in their outfits and they both felt so beautiful in them.

If you have noticed this time we got to try out some shoes from their collection.  Although the shoes are cute and goes well with many outfits, I found that the shoes run a half a size small.  Michelle complained that her ballerina flats were squeezing her feet and was uncomfortable; that is unfortunate but I could always just send them back but instead I’ll donate them.  The good thing though FabKids shoes are made of good quality and looks like it’ll hold up after several months of play in them.  Lauren chosen some cute heart rainbow sandals that fit her perfectly but I can tell she will outgrow them quickly so soon they’ll become Michelle’s sandals.

Out of both outfits, Lauren’s was my favorite!  I love the ruffles and adjustable straps which makes taking the dress on and off easier.  She has a choice to wear her dress with or without leggings but I prefer her to have the leggings on.  In the summer time she can wear the biker short style leggings to prevent her legs from being too hot.  Lauren was getting a lot of compliments and heads turning because of her ice princess dress.

Michelle’s outfit has a hidden legging type of shorts underneath so if she bends over you won’t see her underwear.  This outfit is definitely Michelle’s style because she loves dresses which makes her feel like the lil princess that she is.  It’s just a bummer her shoes were too tight, so make a note if you order shoes from FabKids order a size bigger since they do not have half sizes.

The Easter Egg Hunt is something the girls and I do every single year.  There are always a big crowd at the event so we made sure to arrive early.  This year we came to the event an hour early and my girls complained, complained, complained!

“Mom, when will the hunt begin because it is taking too long?”

“Mom, how many minutes do we have left?”

“Mom, I’m cold!”

“Mom, I don’t think I want to do this egg hunt anymore because it is taking way too long!”

Goodness, my girls need to learn patience, I’m always telling them that.  I’m trying to teach them not to rush things and enjoy the moment.  Good things happens to those who wait.  Prefect example, there were many of kids that didn’t get any eggs during the hunt because they arrived there right before the egg hunt started, if they would’ve arrived early and waited then there would’ve been a good possibility they would be right up front and able to get eggs.

The girl’s baskets were filled with eggs after the hunt and they were happy they waited an hour after they seen how much eggs they’ve found.

After the girls and I did a little bit of shopping for our Spring Break trip, the girls played at the water fountains and I snapped some photos of them.

My girls would LOVE a dress like Lauren's. It really does look like something out of Frozen!
