Have you noticed the latest makeup trend: tinted sunscreens that not only protect you from the sun but also give your face lightweight coverage that looks and feels like your skin?
I started using this Dayscreen Lightweight Tinted SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen, and I have been loving it. I thought since it was lightweight, the coverage would be sheer; however, it gave me foundation-like coverage without the heaviness.
Recently, I got to try out bareMinerals BARESKIN Daily Dewy Sunscreen Mineral SPF 30.
I've used bareMinerals before, and unfortunately I wasn't a fan of their BAREPRO liquid foundation because it made my face greasy and felt dirty. Plus, I had a bad breakout.
So, after that experience, I never wore bareMinerals again.
Now, almost 10 years later, I'm giving bareMinerals another chance to redeem themselves.

My Review of bareMinerals BARESKIN Daily Dewy Sunscreen Mineral SPF 30
I had the option to choose from four shades, and I selected Sheer Medium Deep because it was the only one close to my skin tone.
Once I received it, my first thought was that the packaging was so small (30ml), and for $40, I expected more.
I applied some mineral sunscreen to my hand and noticed how runny and sheer it was. I knew it wouldn't provide any coverage, even if I applied more.
I tried it on my face, and yes, no coverage whatsoever; the undertone was way too red, and I looked like a greasy mess once again.
Once again, I'm highly disappointed in bareMinerals!
It's like they can't get shades right; the product says it'll give you dewy skin, but it will have you looking greasy instead, plus expensive.
But here's one good thing: no white cast!
I think bareMinerals makes good powder foundations, which is what they're known for, but when it comes to liquid products, they're not good at all.
If you're looking for a tinted sunscreen that's lightweight, offers full coverage, and is affordable, I highly recommend Beauty of Joseon Dayscreen Lightweight Tinted SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen with Ceramide; however, it's not dewy, but if you apply moisturizer first, it'll give you that dewy look.
