I don't want to grow up; I'm a Toys R' Us kid, they've got a million toys at Toys R' Us that I can play with!

Don't you just love that song? I bet you sang that song in your head while reading it!

Boy, the joys of being a kid! Especially during the '80s and '90s! Toys R' Us was the place to be to purchase and play with the hottest toys. Children's imaginations would run wild with all the exciting toys to explore at this giant toy store.

But, today, it's not the same as it was when I was growing up. Kids no longer play with toys and find joy playing with gadgets and watching other kids play with toys on YouTube, which made Toys R' Us wave goodbye to all the little boys and girls, shutting their doors down for good.

I don't know about you, but I was sad when I found out that Toys R' Us went out of business. I remember as a kid going to their toy store during my birthday to choose my gifts and brought down that celebration tradition with my girls when they were babies to visit Toys R' Us during their big day.

When I heard the news that Toys R' Us partnered with Candytopia to bring an interactive toy wonderland for people young and old to bring out their inner child, I was elated! It may not be the toy store itself, but I'll take a day of reliving my childhood with my daughters.

The Toys R' Us Adventures is in the same location where Candytopia Atlanta pop-up was. But, don't think it is just leftover candy craziness.

The Toys R' Us Adventure presents an all-new, totally immersive, fill-up-your-photo-album super-experience! The Toys R' Us Adventure is a vast indoor adventure that celebrates all the whimsy, silly, and fun of toys.

Guests get to explore mind-blowing rooms and celebrate play with installations designed around top toy brands you know and love, like Melissa and Doug, Schleich, and Paw Patrol

At the Toys R' Us Adventure, you can swing your way through a paradise foam pit, journey through a blizzard with "Yeti" Pig, climb through a Jurassic jungle, and experience a larger-than-life toy box.

I'll be honest with you, I thought the Toys R' Us Adventure was better than Candytopia because it's a more interactive experience. Candytopia is a candy museum to take a bunch of Instagram selfies and admire all the candy sculpture creativity.

When I first stepped inside, instantly seeing Toys R' Us mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe made me feel so cheerful, bringing back memories of snapping photos with him when myself and the girls were younger.

There are a few things that are similar to Candytopia with the Toys R' Us Adventure:

1. Each room has free candy to eat.

2. Candytopia had an app to take fun photos throughout the experience, and with the Toys R' Us Adventure, you go on Adventurecam.app on your phone and scan a barcode in the different rooms to save and upload your pictures. Also, you can take as many images with your own camera as well.

3. At the end of the tour, there is a candy store that sells toys, as well. Make a note that they are a no-cash establishment.

4. And yes, be prepared to be covered in confetti, which is the best part!
