Valentine's Day Themed Japan Candy Box Review

Valentine's Day is all about sharing your time with the ones you love!  This Valentine's Day is no different than the previous ones; I spend this special day showing my love and affection with Mr. M and the girls.  Well, I show that to them every day, but we go the extra mile by giving heartfelt gifts.

When the girls were younger, I would give them cute little stuff animals with a small box of chocolates, now with them both older, this year I wanted to do something a bit different.

Together, we enjoyed some yummy Valentine's Day snacks and candies straight from Japan!  We are big fans of the Japanese culture and wanted to have our Valentine's Day eating treats in a non-traditional way.

Remember we did taste testing of the Japan Candy Box last Thanksgiving?

Trying out that box was so much fun with my girls, and we wanted to do that again, this time during Valentine's Day.  Although it's only Michelle on my video tasting candies and snacks with me, Lauren is in the back controlling the camera while munching on the snacks with us.  Lauren likes to be behind the camera.

As a reminder, Japan Candy Box is a monthly box full of authentic candy snacks straight from Japan.  You have a choice of receiving these new boxes monthly (starting at $17.90 a month) or give to someone as a gift.

Experience Fun Japanese Snacks

Your snack subscription box is thoughtfully curated and delivered straight to your home!

Exclusive & Limited Edition

Each candy box includes hard to find seasonal and exclusive Japanese candies.

Guaranteed Happiness

These Tokyo treats are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Month after month!

As I mentioned, we tried out Valentine's Day themed Japan Candy Box, and this particular box is so far my favorite.  Michelle preferred the Thanksgiving box because it had more of a variety of flavors.  The Valentine's Day themed Japan Candy Box had mostly flavored strawberry snacks and chocolates, which to be expected since Valentine's Day is all about strawberries and chocolates.

I was curious if the candies and snacks would taste different than American, but to me, it tasted the same as popular snack brands here in the US.

Check out what we got to try below:
