These Cars Bang! 2018 Ford Expedition and 2018 Ford Mustang

Hey Yall!  I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, and ready to jump-start your week with a bang!

And what's banging in my neck of the woods are these two vehicles I had the pleasure of learning about last week, both 2018 Ford Expedition and 2018 5.0 Mustang during my monthly auto group meet-up.  Both cars are built for taking over and owning the roads everywhere they go.  Eye-catchers for sure.

Right now, Ford is all about returning to their roots, bringing back vehicles we have known and loved while growing up.

Bronco anyone?  Remember that car?  You'll be seeing the all-new ones touching down on roads again soon, sometime next year.

I Pulled Up in a Expedition!

The Ford Expedition is a full-size SUV that was introduced to the Ford family back in 1997, as the successor of the Ford Bronco, the Expedition was the first full-size Ford SUV sold with a four-door body.  Now, we're going into the fourth-generation with the 2018 models of Expeditions.  It's great to see the longevity of this model of SUV.

When I think of Ford Expeditions, my thoughts are massive, grand, a huge monstrous beast!  The SUV is humongous; my little 5'3 self look like an ant standing beside it!  Huge families are known to own big vehicles like these thanks to plenty of space inside for everyone.

But, with the new 2018 Ford Expedition, it's more than just space; this vehicle provides, it's packing with a ton of amazing, luxurious features too!

I was nervous before my test drive, thinking I wouldn't be able to handle that big thing, however, once I jumped in, yes JUMPED 😅, I got myself situated making sure my seating was adjusted to my comfort, adjusted mirrors, and I was off!  The drive around the block was smooth like butter, and with the 360-camera is an excellent addition to the SUV to help me when backing up and parking.  But, I will say it will take a bit of time getting me use to driving such a big vehicle since I'm more accustom to mid-size, and small SUVs.

The price for the 2018 Expedition is a whopping  $81,815.00!!!!  Yes, expensive, however, that's because I was in the Platinum Edition, the top of the line.  If you're looking for a base model, the starting price is $51,790.  Not too bad.

Ford Mustang is the #1 Sports Car for Over 50 Years!

Ford Mustang history date back all the way to 1964!  The fourth and fifth generation Ford Mustangs are the ones I saw most on the roads while growing up, with the fourth generation being the models during my high school years that all my friends wanted to have.   Even Mr. M's mom have the fourth generation anniversary edition Mustang!  These hot rides are known for all kinds of different racing, like drag racing, sports car racing, stock car racing, and drifting.  As you can see, it's one hell of a fast car!

Unfortunately, I didn't get to test drive the Sixth generation, 2018 5.0 Mustang since it's a manual.  I never got to learn how to drive a stick shift, only automatic.  What a bummer, I wish I could have felt the power of this car, but looking at the outer body, the body style is hot like fire!

Price for this fast beauty is $56,000.  That's not a bad price.

Each month, my auto groups are hosted in different places around town in Atlanta.  Our monthly meeting was in the industrial, up and coming part of Chamblee, Georgia at a restaurant called Hopstix.

Hopstix is a neat little hip joint that offers an Asian fusion menu, Robata grill, and Rawbar.  Also, they're known for their award-winning craft beers too.  I had a taste of some of their menu items, and the food was quite delicious, it reminds me of Asian street food which is very popular right now.   Hopstix is a great hangout spot for get-togethers with friends while enjoying tasty, fresh foods and drinks.
