Hey Yall! It's been awhile since I've last posted an outfit post, and that's because during the summer I didn't shop for clothes for myself. I'm trying to purge down my closet and not have it full of clothes I only wear once or not at all with price tags still hanging on them.
With my birthday coming up (September 18th) I wanted to treat myself to some new clothes for the fall. I purchased a few warmer clothes at one of my favorite go-to women's clothing and accessories store, New York and Company, as well as discount retail store Target.
I generally don't shop for clothes when it comes to Target, just for hair care products, supplies, and household goods. But lately, while pushing my red cart throughout the store, I noticed how cute Target brand clothes are becoming.
Targets clothes use to not look appealing to me, but since they started bringing in designers Target's clothing line have been more trendy and in-style. Outfits so attractive that it's starting to become better looking than department stores.
About a week ago, while killing time before it was time for me to pick up Lauren from school, Michelle and I went to Target to browse around.
In Target, the women's section is straight ahead right when you walk through the automatic front doors, so that was the first place Michelle and I went to look.
With me working from home my style has been very laid back. Summer was all about t-shirts and shorts for me.
The style I'm going for this fall will be still laid-back but I'll up it a bit with skirts, boots, jeggings, and moto jackets.
My two Target Outfit picks from the A New Day line I can dress up for when I go to meetings and events or dress down when I'm off doing things with my girls or my weekly run to the grocery store.

Both t-shirts and skirts are well tailored for my body shape, comfortable and easy to pair with other clothes accessories I already have at home.
I can see myself wearing both outfits throughout fall and winter, just layering up when the weather starts to get colder.

Woohoo, my birthday is on the 20th and this weekend I plan on purging my closets and donating clothes that no longer fit nor do I wear. I haven't shopped at Target in a minute but I love these looks. #ProductReviewParty
