Hey Yall!  Wow, our weekend has been filled with such holiday joy!  From previewing Madeline's Christmas, seeing Disney's MOANA, and attending Tower of Talent here in Atlanta at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.  Boy, this is a weekend to remember, an excellent way to start my holiday season!

About Tower of Talent Event:

Celebrating its third successful year, Tower of Talent features Atlanta’s most talented kid's ages 6 to 18 in a world-class concert and vocal performance.  From Beethoven to Broadway, over 140 kids will perform, sing and entertain to raise funds for the music therapy program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. (CHOA).  Music Therapy has proven to be a significant partner in the healing process of children, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta relies on donation dollars to staff and provide this important program to their patients.  Emcee’s Channel 11 Television Anchorwoman Brenda Wood and Master of Ceremonies Tom Sullivan co-hosted the concert along with appearances by WPBA’s Alicia Steele and Atlanta & Company Host Christine Pullara.  A filmed welcome kick-offed the show by celebrity Ryan Seacrest.

My girls and I, including Mr. M, attended this entertaining event as VIP Guest.  This was an affair that we had to dress up for, so we dressed our holiday best to impressed (Hey, I rhymed!)  Do you like our outfits?

Us with Dr. Warren Woodruff

We walked the red carpet, mixed and mingled in the VIP lounge, and watched all the inspirational children from Atlanta vocally perform different tunes helping raise funds for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

What a great cause to be a part of!  And it also showed my girls about lending a helping hand to other children in need too.

And guess how much money was raised?  One million dollars!!!  Incredible!

Music sure does bring out the happiness in me, when I have a bad day I turn on my favorite tunes to lighten up my mood, so having a music program at the children's hospital is beneficial to uplift the medically fragile children.
