The girls and I were invited free to preview the Wahoo Racer ride, all opinions are our own. |
Hey Yall! Wow, my first summer break free from a 9 to 5 job, I been spending much of my free time with the girls seeking fun adventures. It's like we have non-stop action together. From riding rides in the mountains at Dollywood, facing our fears of holding and feeding exotic parrots, seeing that watching puppet shows can be fun and entertaining for all ages, and so on. Goodness, I didn't know I had it in me to do so much in the past month. Go me!
Next, on our summer break action pack list, is visiting Six Flags White Water here in Georgia. We were invited to preview the world's tallest slide of its kind, the Wahoo Racer!
The girls and I got up first thing Saturday morning, packed our swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, and headed down the highway for a splashing good time at the water park. The weather that day was overcast, looked like it was going to rain, but we didn't let the cooler temperatures scare us into not going. A matter of fact, the weather was perfect, not too blazing hot like it has been, and not too cold that we would be freezing icicles in the water.
Being VIP, we got to cut through the crowds before the park was open to general public, and we walked to the section where the newest water slide was located.
I took one look at the slide and was like, "No way am I getting on that! I'm too scared to slide down water slides. Girls, y'all can do this yourselves while I watch. I'll only participate with you two in the tide pool and lazy river." Sorry, I'm not about that life! LOL!
I know I'm all about conquering fears this year, but umm, nope to those water slides, especially for the fact that I can't swim.
Only one of us that slid down the new Wahoo Racer was Michelle. Lauren sat right next to me and watched her sister be one of the first to give the giant slides a try. Lauren is usually not scared of water slides, but she had her eyes on riding different ones at the park.
Michelle, along with her friends, went down Wahoo Racer together, and she told me the twirling slides was faster than she expected while sliding down head first, also while inside the slide, there are rainbow lights so you won't be in complete darkness.
This was Michelle's first time, Lauren and I second time visiting Six Flags White Water. I have completely forgotten that Georgia even had a water park, good to know so when we're trying to find ways to cool down from the Atlanta heat, and not want to go to our local community pool, we'll make the 45-minute drive to White Water.
I am not about that water slide life but the kids love it! I am about that find me a chair life lol. I will be headed to white water at some point this summer so I can't wait to check out what's new
ReplyDeleteCHAIR LIFE!!!! LMAO!!!! I'm about that chair life too, me just chillin' sitting there watching.
DeleteI've never been a water slide. It's on my bucket list of things to experience.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun if you like getting wet, fast rides, and not afraid of heights.
DeleteLooks fun for your girls. I once got stuck going down a water slide so...yeah, not for me lol.
ReplyDeleteOh no, that's scary!
DeleteYes, I'm afraid of water slides too. I wouldn't have been able to slide down that either. I'm glad your daughter was brave enough to do it ☺
