Shades are not only stylish but they protect the sensitive area around your eyes from harmful uv rays. Too much exposure can make skin dryer and appear older. We definitely don't want that, so check out my picks for shades to see which one you'll be picking up for the sunny days ahead!

Aviator: Classic aviator shades look good on any face shape! You can find tints that range from bright pink all the way to black. Their classic looks make them an ideal choice for an everyday shade.

Circular: Popular artist like Beyonce and Rihanna have been spotted with round sunnies that add instant character and charm. Not for the faint of heart, these shades are for the bold persuasion.

Cat Eye: These shades are a direct nod to the 1950's, where these glasses gained their popularity. You don't have to wear a poodle skirt to conjure a little vintage style because these glasses deliver that and lots of feminine flair!

Nerd: Nerd glasses have a classic squarish round shape and are usually black. However, you can find these frames in a variety of colors to suit your mood. If you're looking for glasses that show you don't take yourself too seriously, these are the ones.

What type of shades are you sporting this spring?

  1. Hi Lou, do you have any recommendations for men shades? I'm looking for a pair to use in my giveaways.
    Thanks

    1. I don't know of any for men, but check out some brands on Amazon or eBay. Also, go to department stores and see any men shades you like.
