Keep Your Skin Protected from the Harmful Sun Rays with Caribbean Breeze

Keep Your Skin Protected from the Harmful Sun Rays with Caribbean Breeze via www.productreviewmom.com
I was given these products to do a review.  All opinions are my own.

Hey Yall!   By now if you have been following me for the past couple years you know how much I love spending time at the beach.  Something about the beach instantly relaxes me and not have to worry about the hustle and bustle back at home.

Did you know I have traveled to several different beaches this year?  Beaches I visited are Daytona Beach, South Beach, Fort Walton Beach, Destin Beach, Panama City Beach, and Myrtle Beach.  Yes, that's is a lot of beaches I visited in one year.  Out of all the beaches I traveled to Myrtle Beach and Destin was the best ones because it's family friendly and much more attractions and entertainment.

Laying on the beach and soaking up the sun rays while listening to the ocean waves crashing is peaceful and soothing, however, you must protect your skin from the harmful sun beaming on your skin.

The damaging rays can cause premature aging, wrinkling the skin, sunburns, and even worst skin cancer.

I remember the time a couple of years ago when my family and I were vacationing and went to Pensacola Beach for a few days and I was checking my beach bag and noticed I forgot my sunblock.  I was about to leave and go to a nearby surf store, but Mr. M told me that I didn't need sunscreen because black people do not burn.

I thought that was stupid but still listened to his awful advice.  My skin was unprotected in the sun for several hours, and I didn't believe the sun did any damage to my skin, or so I thought.

After the beach trip, I went home, unpacked, and hopped in the shower.  While in the shower, when the water first hit my skin, my skin felt like it was on fire!!!!  I jumped out immediately and looked at myself in the mirror, my skin was so red and irritated, I looked like a lobster that has been boiling in hot water.  Few days later, my skin was peeling all over the place; I was looking like a snake who is shedding it skin.  Yuck!   This torture lasted for several weeks.

So yes, people with darker skin tone also burn from the sun too.  It's critical to keep your skin protected.

The kind people at Caribbean Breeze seen how much I loved going to the beach, especially beaches in Florida, so they sent me over suncare products to try out.  Now, I won't need to worry about stocking up on suncare supply for awhile.

Caribbean Breeze is not sold by the large mass discount stores, large discount drug stores, or supermarket chains, so they can provide high-quality products with attractive packaging at competitive prices with superior service.  Their products can be purchased at Caribbean Breeze's website, their Caribbean Breeze store on Amazon, and their new eBay store.

Caribbean Breeze was awarded recognition by Consumer Reports in 2015 as being one of the top 15 recommended sunscreens.

While looking at all of my goodies, the packaging looks very inviting and does have you thinking of traveling to Caribbean locations.  Packaging is made well, and I won't have to worry about it busting open in my suitcase.

Products included in my package was:

Keep Your Skin Protected from the Harmful Sun Rays with Caribbean Breeze via www.productreviewmom.com

Caribbean Breeze Aloe Moisturizing Lotion ($7.09)-  It is vitamin enriched, has green tea extract and pomegranate extract.  Smells just like aloe and lotion go on smooth without leaving your skin greasy.  The texture is a bit thick and blends in skin well with no residue.  No need to reapply all day because it left my skin nourished throughout the day.  It is best if used right after the shower.

Caribbean Breeze Golden Tanning Carrot Cream ($7.99)-  I don't use tanning lotions since I try not to get darker than I am, but this cream would be great for someone who does.  The tanning cream is creamy and thick, while still evenly blending into the skin.  This cream is supposed to be used right before your skin is exposed to the sun, and often reapply during tanning and after swimming.  The golden tanning cream is also enriched with vitamins and extracts.

Caribbean Breeze 30 Sunscreen Lotion ($8.19)- A lot of sunscreens has an awful medicated smell but not Caribbean Breeze sunscreens, it has a soft, sweet smell that is very pleasant.  Their sunscreens are water resistant with up to 80 minutes of protection, non-greasy, and has pomegranate extract as well as green tea extract.

Yes, I know my arms are hairy.  :-\

Caribbean Breeze 30 Kids Sunscreen Spray Lotion ($11.59)-  My daughters prefer to have spray-on sunscreen, so they were happy to see this sunscreen lotion for them.  The texture is like a thinner cream instead of a liquid.  It is safe and gentle on children's delicate skin with enriched vitamins and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes.  Kids will have a long day of play in the water not worrying about reapplying sunblock all the time.

Caribbean Breeze 50 Lip Essentials ($2.39)-  Lips also need protection as well from the sun, even during the cold winter days.  My daughters wanted the lip balms, so I gave it to them.  Lauren said it glides on smooth, and it smells like melons.

Caribbean Breeze sure does have great suncare products that everyone will enjoy at affordable prices.  I can't wait to bring these products on my next family beach trip!  Remember always to protect your skin from the sun rays no matter what nationality you are.  Also, Caribbean Breeze is the perfect gift to give to beach lovers, just get a basket and fill it up with their products.

  1. Yes, black people do burn! I had a similar experience at Six Flags and I learned my lesson. I still need to wear it more often though. Thanks for the review.

    1. I never knew about this company either, probably because they're not sold in big retailers. Definitely purchase some online if you're going to DR.

You remind me so much of my sister. She's a PreK teacher and before she takes the class out to play she has to put on sunscreen or she will get burned in that little bit of time. I'm going to buy her some Carribean Breeze products as a stocking stuffer. The Product Review Critic #productreviewmomlinkupparty
