Are you a fan of Trader Joe's?
Do you shop their beauty products?
I'm not a regular shopper at Trader Joe's, but a new location opened near me. When I went to their grand opening, I noticed a beauty section with a variety of Trader Joe's-branded beauty products.
Trader Joe's always had a beauty section, but it was very small and, quite frankly, boring.
But now, they stepped up their game, competing with high-end luxury brands.
Although I went to Trader Joe's for the snacks, I also got myself their Refreshing Citrus Body Wash and Brazil Nut Body Scrub.
What made me buy it was, of course, that I needed some body wash and I was out of body scrub, but I also love the bright-colored packaging.
The packaging captured my attention and made me want to buy them to try them out.
Plus, both scents are delightful!
Lauren, who used to work at Ulta, told me that, when she smelled the products and looked at them, the Refreshing Citrus Body Wash reminded her of the brand OSEA, and Brazil But Body Scrub is a dupe of Sol de Janeiro.
I haven't used either of those popular brands, so I can't compare, but I'll share if Trader Joe's beauty products are worth purchasing. Here are my thoughts:
Trader Joe's Refreshing Citrus Body Wash
I've heard that this body wash is a customer favorite. It has been reformulated to include highly sought-after skincare ingredients like niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, and squalane.
These ingredients help support the skin's moisture barrier, leaving it feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated long after you've showered.
I love the refreshing citrus scent of this body wash with notes of orange, grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon. It awakens my senses, plus leaves my skin smelling citrusy.
The body wash creates a great lather, getting my skin clean without stripping it. My skin is soft, smooth, and looking hydrated afterward.
A little goes a long way!
I will definitely be repurchasing this body wash again!

Trader Joe's Brazil Nut Body Scrub
Trader Joe's Brazil Nut Body Scrub is very popular, so I'm surprised I was able to get one.
Trader Joe's Brazil Nut Body Scrub features a base of coarse sugar crystals combined with a highly moisturizing blend of coconut, sunflower, jojoba, and Brazil nut (Bertholletia excelsa) seed oils.
To enhance its benefits, aloe leaf and guarana extracts provide an antioxidant boost. At the same time, finely ground coconut shell powder adds extra texture.
The scrub is finished with a delightful scent reminiscent of salted caramel and pistachio, leaving your skin smelling sweet and summery.
I'm telling you...if your skin needs a deep exfoliation, this scrub is it!
I am absolutely impressed by how this scrub smoothed out my skin from head to toe! Plus, it left my skin glowing and hydrated, without the need to add oils or lotion. But I did, though, for added moisture.
Sorry, Tree Hut, but you have now been replaced!
Price: $5.99/8 Oz
I really have been sleeping on Trader Joe's beauty products.
And thankfully, since a new Trader Joe's opened up close to me, I can start shopping there more often and try out their other beauty products.
