For the past several months, SCAD has had an exhibit that all fashion lovers will enjoy called Dior: Crafting Fashion.
My oldest daughter has been wanting to go, so finally we made the trip to Midtown Atlanta to experience Christian Dior's fashion vision.

Dior: Crafting Fashion explores the iconic legacy of the House of Dior and showcases an array of stunning garments and accessories that highlight the craftsmanship and creativity behind the brand.
The museum is designed to unfold over seven thematic sections that shine a light on the House of Dior's heritage.

My Review of Dior: Crafting Fashion
Since I'm not that big on luxury fashion, I don't know much about Christian Dior, but with this museum, I got to learn how Dior got started.
Christian Dior initially dreamed of becoming an architect before running an art gallery and ultimately becoming a couturier.
Even though Dior's designs are avant-garde, his silhouettes are more elegant, classic, and high-end.
While checking out all the designs in the exhibit, I liked that Dior's fashion makes a bold, feminine statement. I can see myself wearing so many pieces. I see why Dior's designs are a popular choice for red carpet events.
I asked Lauren what made her get into Dior's fashion.
She told me that she loves his classic looks, especially the Lady Dior era.
Lauren likes both Chanel and Dior; however, she said Dior is much hip with its pieces and collaborates with popular brands today, while Chanel is much quieter yet timeless.
It took us about an hour to walk through the whole exhibit; however, if you want to read all the artifacts, it'll take you a bit longer.
