CeraVe's New 2-in-1 Anti-Dandruff Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner: A Game Changer for Hair Care!

CeraVe's 2-in-1 Anti-Dandruff Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner

Wow, I didn't know CeraVe had hair products now. I've been using their skincare products for years and have shared them on my blog, but I'm elated that they have created haircare products for different needs.

CeraVe sent me a free full-size sample of their new 2-in-1 Anti-Dandruff Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner.

Here are more details about CeraVe 2-in-1 Anti-Dandruff Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner...

How CeraVe's 2-in1 Anti-Dandruff Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner looks

CeraVe Anti-Dandruff Haircare Reinvented with Dermatologists

Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe's 2-in-1 Anti-Dandruff Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner eliminates up to 100% of visible flakes while leaving your scalp and hair hydrated and soft for up to 72 hours.

This gentle, pH-balanced formula defeats itch and irritation without stripping moisture, making it ideal for sensitive scalps. It is allergy-tested and free of fragrance, sulfates, phthalates, dyes, MIT, and parabens.

When I got the package and looked at the product, the first thing I thought was, "Shampoo and conditioner combined reminds me of Head and Shoulders."

But what I don't like about Head and Shoulders is how dry it leaves my hair.

Another question: how well will this shampoo and conditioner combination work for someone like me who doesn't have dandruff?

If you count flakes from gel after having it in my hair for a few days, that's the only dandruff-like problem I have.

So, I put this 2-in-1 Anti-Dandruff Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner to the test!

Wash my hair with it, using hair that had Wetline gel in it and sweat from working out at the gym for almost a week. Let's just say my hair was a flaky, dry mess and needed a good wash!

I hopped into the shower and let the warm water run through my hair. I applied the thick shampoo/conditioner and washed my hair from root to tip, massaging it until it turned into suds.

I did this for 5 minutes and then washed it out.

What I immediately noticed was how soft and manageable my hair was. I could run my fingers through it.

Here are the pros and cons of CeraVe's 2-in-1 Anti-Dandruff Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner:

Pros

1. Being both shampoo and conditioner in one means less time to wash my hair, plus spending money on one product instead of two.

2. No scent, well, a little bit of a soap scent, but if you're familiar with CeraVe, you know their products don't really have a scent.

3. It has 1% of Pyrithione Zinc that helps treat dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. Also has 3 essential ceramides, niacininamide, and hyaluronic acid.

4. It's affordable! Only $11.99!

Cons

1. The size is a bit too small since I'm pretty heavy-handed when it comes to applying shampoos and conditioners in my hair. The size I used is 12 FL OZ (355 ml). But I did find out that they do have a Value Size on Amazon.
