Finally, I got to experience the festive yet tasty Italian dishes from the beloved Amore e Amore, located in the heart of Atlanta, in Inman Park.
I've wanted to visit this restaurant, but it was always booked solid, especially during the holidays.
About Amore e Amore
Amore e Amore is known for its vibrant ambiance and for serving a range of classic Italian recipes, from homemade pasta to rich sauces and freshly prepared seafood. The dishes are infused with traditional flavors, bringing a taste of Italy.
Not only is their food enticing, but Amore e Amore has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it an excellent spot for families, romantic dinners, and celebrations.
Amore e Amore is not your ordinary Italian restaurant, either. Its over-the-top decorations and themes make the place a delightful experience.
When I went, Amore e Amore brought the magic of the circus to life. The place was decorated head to toe with dazzling lights and carnival decor, bringing the energy of the carnival to life.
My waiter welcomed me to "Under the Big Top" with a colorful hat, which added a special touch and kept me in the restaurant's theme.
I noticed a balloon artist walking around making balloon art free for guests, which was cool to see.
I also noticed the sounds of 80s music blasting through the speakers, which had me dancing and singing in my seat. I just knew I was in for a good time!
Now, let's talk about the food!
Since the theme was "Under the Big Top," there was a special feast for it that had:
- Antipasto - Cold
- Antipasto - Hot
- Intermezzo
- Entree Choices
- Dolce
I thought that was a lot of food, so I chose to eat from their regular menu.
For starters, my daughter had the Maine Lobster Bisque. I took a spoonful, and it tasted rich and creamy; I loved the savory smoothness of the dish.
For my main dish, I opted for Lobster Ravioli in Champagne Sauce with Mushrooms, which I heard was popular with guests.
When the waiter served me my dinner, I thought it might not be enough and that I would still be hungry; however, it was pretty filling. The ravioli was stuffed with the right amount of lobster, and the sauce was smooth, savory, and delicious especially the chopped portabello mushrooms.
For my side, I added a sharable Spinach Monachina Sautéed in Olive Oil & Garlic that paired well with my meal.
And for the grand finale, I had Zeppole, Italian donut balls.
I'm thrilled to finally dine at Amore e Amore! It was such a fun experience with delicious food. I highly recommend dining here!
