The Toyota RAV4 holds a special place in my heart; you want to know why? I have a RAV4 myself, and I love everything about my peppy compact SUV!
I remember like it was yesterday, I went to Toyota dealership looking to upgrade my car from sedan to small SUV for more space for my growing family. When I laid eyes on my 2010 RAV4, I knew I had to get it, and we were inseparable ever since!
Immediately after my RAV4 purchase, I took my shiny new silver SUV down to Florida for a family vacation in Orlando to celebrate.
Such great memories I have created in my RAV4! And still this day my car runs like brand new, never giving me any problems. Keeping up with my regular maintenance keeps my car going strong. Plus, Toyota make cars that last for years!
My RAV4 is part of the 3rd generation models, and for the past week, I was able to test out the latest 5th generation, 2019 RAV4 Limited AWD!
The All-New 2019 RAV4 is incredible! It makes my old RAV4 seem less exciting since it doesn't have all the latest technology like the new models. 2019 RAV4 have technology that keeps up with today's consumers, like USB charging ports to keep all our gadgets charged, hands-free Bluetooth capabilities, and music streaming.
First thing you notice with the 2019 RAV4 is the exterior look. It's more edgy, rugged, with sharp lines and edges. It's like abstract art! Also, the look is similar to the luxury counterpart, the Lexus NX, but you get more bang for your buck with the RAV4.
Also, size-wise, compared to my 2010 RAV4, the 2019 version is much more spacious, giving more legroom and cargo space.
The way Toyota has made these new RAV4's, they are created to go out on adventures, on and off-road being able to handle any road conditions, from snowy sleet to rocky roads in the mountains, the heavy-duty 2019 RAV4 is built to endure it all!
Just like my first adventure in my RAV4 to Florida, I took the 2019 RAV4 on a road trip to Florida as well, this time to Destin.
The drive down to the Emerald Coast was so soothing and fun; it's like the car itself was doing the driving while I kick back and enjoy the scenery around me.
I had the air conditioner on full blast keeping us chilled from the almost 100-degree temperature, and Mr. M and I turned on the cooling seats, and comfortably enjoyed the peaceful 6-hour drive to and from Destin.
During our drive, I couldn't resist bringing up our past trips in my own RAV4. I thought to myself, I sure have taken my car to a lot of places, especially up in the Great Smoky Mountains.
It's like I spend a lot of my life in my RAV4; running errands, dropping off and picking up my daughters from school, attending events, date nights, and so on. My RAV4 plays a big part in my everyday life, and I can see myself in the 2019 RAV4 creating even more memories in it.
Down the highways to Destin, Mr. M reclined his passenger bucket seat and took a nap.
A couple of hours passed, and we were passing through Montgomery, Alabama, and I noticed Mr. M moving in his sleep. I took a glance at him and accidentally swerved in my lane a bit. The RAV4 took notice and on my digital speedometer screen, pulled up a question, "Would I like to take a break?", along with a cute little coffee cup. I love how Toyota cares for their consumer's safety with all its safety senses. Thanks to Toyota's safety system, it helps drivers to prevent accidents, arriving safely to their destinations.
2019 RAV4 drive so smoothly with a lot of horsepower! I kept the car in Eco mode to save gas; however, there are options to choose between Normal and Sports mode as well. And if you need more improved traction, you can put the RAV4 in Mud & Sand, Rock & Dirt, and Snow modes. You see, this sturdy SUV is meant to take you on thrilling adventures.
And you want to know what is incredible?
I didn't have to gas up not even once during our drive to Destin with some gas to spare while driving around town sightseeing! So, more time on the roads and less at gas pumps. More money in your pockets! Oh yeah! (28 MPG, 25 City, and 33 Highway)
2019 Rav4 has it all, everything you need in a car, it got it! I love everything about it!
It's hard to part ways with my 2010 RAV4, it been too good to me to let it go. So, I decided that I'll pass down my RAV4 to my daughters when the time comes when they start driving in a few years, and I'll upgrade to the newest RAV4. I'll continue the tradition as my mother did with me, passing down her Toyota Corolla, and she upgraded to a Toyota Camry. As you can see, I grew up on the Toyota brand.
