Did you know that Educators can plan field trips for their students at Atlanta's premier attractions?

On Saturday, the girls and I woke up bright and early to attend the Educator's Open House happening at all three museums, World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, and Center for Civil and Human Rights.  All three attractions partnered together to share with local teachers and homeschoolers field trip opportunities throughout the school year.

I am not a teacher, nor do I homeschool my children, but all three attractions are great places to take students for a day of hands-on learning fun.

Even my girls with their schools attended these exhibits with the classmates each school year.  And it's great to know that there are special programming available for homeschool children as well.

The girls and I were free to hop to each museum since we were invited media guest, so we started off at The World of Coca-Cola since it has been awhile since our last visit there.

First place the girls stopped inside was the taste testing room with all the Coke product drinks from around the world.

Like I mentioned several times, we are not soda drinkers, but during occasions like visiting World of Coke, I like the girls have at it guzzling down all the drinks from different countries.

Some drinks in that room are good, and some will have you spitting it out in the trash due to the nasty taste and high carbonation.  But it's all in good fun!

World of Coca Cola is great educational and entertaining field trip for students in older grades like middle and high school.  Check out the Teacher's Toolkit to help plan a field trip there.

Next stop on our Educator's Open House tour, we walked across Pemberton Place lawn to Georgia Aquarium.

Georgia Aquarium is one of the world's most awe-inspiring classroom!  Their school programming includes admission to all shows and animal galleries on a first come first served basis.

Education general admission allows for a self-paced, self-guided exploration through all of the Aquarium's galleries where students can build their own learning adventure inside.  Visit their website for resources on field trip opportunities.  They have programs for all school levels.

The Aquarium was so packed inside with educators and families enjoying the many exhibits inside.  There is a lot to see and do, so arriving early is a must.  More like come when the Aquarium first opens; trust me because the crowds are huge.

Last stop on our self-guided tour of Educator's Open House was Center for Civil and Human Rights.

Again, this museum is for all school levels, but use your best judgement for attendance of younger children due to strong images of struggle and human violence that might scare them.  The Center is a great outing for educational visits, whether public schools, private schools, home schools, or colleges.

The Center for Civil and Human Rights is a museum dedicated to the achievements of both the civil rights movement in the United States and the broader worldwide human rights movement.

This place will move and empower you, making you ready to start making a difference in the world.  Reading all the artifacts inside still and always will touch me.

It was our first time visiting all three museums in just one day, and our time was filled with so much knowledge and excitement, we would gladly do it all again!

Disclosure- We were invited as media to attend these attractions free, all opinions are our own.

Have you ever visited one of these three attractions?
