For the longest time, I've been wanting a handheld facial scrub brush to help improve my skin's texture.  I have combination skin that at times my face is either oily or really dry.  During the times when my face is dry and in need of nourishment, my face peels terribly.  I use facial scrubs to remove the dead skin and it helps but it creates my face to be dry even more.

I've been having my eyes on the Spa Sonic Skin Care System for quite some time now but never got a chance to purchase it.  During my trip to Texas, I've seen the Spa Sonic system and wanted to purchase it then but since I'm a product review blogger I knew I'll be able to get myself one without paying anything and as you can see I didn't have to because I reached out to Spa Sonic's PR company and asked if I can review their client's skin care system and they told me yes- woot woot!

I couldn't wait until my Spa Sonic came in the mail!  Once it came, I immediately open my package up like a kid opening their birthday gift to see how my skin care system looked and get ready to have a spa day at home.  I'm happy that they sent me a lime green colored polishing unit because that is one of my favorite colors.

My Review

While looking and touching the polishing unit when I took it out of the package, it reminds me of a vibrator ( yes I know, get my mind out the gutter but it really does look like one!)  The polishing unit is lightweight, soft, and has a good grip.

Thank goodness that this system comes with batteries because I hate to purchase something and it doesn't includes batteries.  I placed the batteries inside my polishing unit- which by the way took me a minute to figure out what side is positive and negative- and then I connected a small facial brush to it.  I ran water on the brush and then added my Neutrogena facial wash on the brush and then turn the unit on.  The unit vibration is not loud or rough and gave my face a gentle cleaning and buffing.  You know how you wax and buff out your car?  Well that's how it felt when I use this skin care system.

After my cleansing, my face felt amazing!  I could totally feel the difference in my skin with just one use. My skin tone looked lighter and so does my dark marks I have on my face due to acne scars.  My face had a glow and my skin felt renewed, I couldn't stop touching my face, I even had Mr. M touch it to see how soft it was.

Using the facial buffer brush attachment was even better than the small facial brush because it worked harder on my skin for a deeper clean and tightening my pores.

The polishing unit is also water proof, so I attached the large body brush and took it in the shower with me.  I poured some of my body wash on the brush, turned on my polishing unit, and proceeded with scrubbing my body.  Now, I have never gone to a spa before unless you count a nail salon as one, but I felt like I was in a spa that moment.  I was in the shower longer than usual because I felt so relaxed and calm that I didn't want to come out.

The pumice attachment really helped remove the dead skin on the heels of my feet and created my feet to be soft and smooth.  I'm loving this skin care system!

After use, I let the brushes air dry.

Is the Spa Sonic Skin Care  System Worth a Try?

I'm very pleased with this skin care system!  It really helped improve my skin and is better to use than using my hands alone.
