Car Lovers Unite: 2020 Atlanta International Auto Show

Car Lovers Unite: 2020 Atlanta International Auto Show

It's that time of the year again, the Atlanta International Auto Show! (February 26th- March 1st) The Atlanta International Auto show is the largest public event held annually at the Georgia World Congress Center.  It's the best place to check out what's new in the auto world.

When people attend the Atlanta International Auto Show, they don’t just get to look...they get to drive too! Several manufacturers host Ride & Drive events at the show, which helps attendees along the path towards the selection of vehicles that best meet their needs.

Over two-dozen manufacturers will exhibit over 500 new cars, trucks, minivans, and SUVs at the show in the roughly 500,000 square feet of exhibit space.

I enjoy attending this auto show because it gives me a glimpse at what cars I would like to review next, what new features are available, and what vehicles are coming in the following year to look out for.

The following 2020-2021 pre-production and select feature vehicles are scheduled to be on display:

  • ALFA ROMEO GIULIA RACING SIMULATOR

  • BUICK ENCORE GX

  • CHEVROLET C8 CORVETTE

  • FORD MUSTANG MACH-E

  • GENESIS GV80

  • GMC YUKON XL DENALI

  • HYUNDAI SONATA

  • HYUNDAI SONATA HYBRID

  • HYUNDAI VENUE

  • NISSAN SENTRA

  • NISSAN 50th ANNIVERSARY GT-R

  • POLARIS SLINGSHOT

  • VW ATLAS (FACELIFT)

  • VW ATLAS CROSS SPORT

*Vehicle displays subject to change at any time and without notice.

ATTRACTIONS & APPEARANCES

Cousin Eddie’s RV: Visitors to this year’s Atlanta International Auto Show will get a chance to get up close and personal with this hilarious bit of movie memorabilia! This is the actual RV that was used in the comedy classic ‘Christmas Vacation’ – not a replica. And there’s a great story behind how it got to Atlanta. To read about it, please pick up a copy of the Official Show Guide near the show entrance.

Caffeine & Octane: The largest monthly car show of its kind in the country, and popular TV show on NBCSN, returns to the Atlanta International Auto Show, with a fantastic display of classics, exotics, and other specialty vehicles.

High Roller BMX: These high-flying tricksters will be performing BMX stunts Friday, February 28th thru Sunday, March 1st.

SpongeBob SquarePants & Patrick Star: The Atlanta International Auto Show is fun for the whole family! This year, we’ll have these two popular cartoon characters on-hand Saturday, Feb. 29th, and Sunday, March 1st. SpongeBob and Patrick appear courtesy of Effectv.

Area College Mascots: The show is thrilled to have representation by three of the area’s colleges at this year’s show! We’ll have Buzz from Georgia Tech, Pounce from Georgia State University, and Scrappy from Kennesaw State University. They’ll be mingling with visitors in the show lobby Saturday and Sunday.
