Thank you Wilderness at the Smokies for sponsoring today's post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. |
Are you stumped about what to do this summer with your family, and looking for affordable options?
Look no further, Wilderness at the Smokies, Tennessee's Largest Waterpark Resort, who is celebrating 10 Family-Fabulous years, has you covered with family-friendly fun for the whole family, no matter the age! My family have been there a couple of times and enjoyed our stay there (check it out here and here). With each visit, new features were introduced, so there is something new yearly.
Honestly, there is no need to leave the resort because everything is located right there on the property like indoor, outdoor waterparks, Family Entertainment Center, multiple Food & Beverage venues, restaurants, and snack shops and all of this is included in your stay.
Just think, if you were to go to an amusement park/waterpark, and needed lodging that adds up quickly hurting your pocketbooks because you have to pay for both separately. That's why Wilderness at the Smokies is a more budget-friendly option since it's all included with your stay.
And, don't worry about the weather, with year-round access to Smoky Mountain's Biggest Indoor waterpark (Wild WaterDome), and Family Entertainment Center (Adventure Forest) the fun never gets canceled!
Got a big family? Wilderness at the Smokies got you covered with that too, offering a wide range of accommodations, from single rooms to multi-room suites that sleep up to 16 guests.
During our first visit, my family and I stayed in a comfy queen double bed suite with sleeper sofa and second stay we upgraded to a suite with a kitchen and a murphy bed for added space, plus it had a fireplace too. The decor gave the room a cabin-like feel, and the fully stocked kitchen we had the option to cook our own food which is another way to save money.
What's also great about staying at Wilderness at the Smokies is that it's proximity to popular destinations like:
Sevierville, Dolly Parton's hometown (less than 4 miles)
Pigeon Forge where Dollywood and other exciting family attractions are located (10 miles)
Gatlinburg that has my favorite Ripley's Aquarium, and boutique shops, restaurants, and other family-friendly attractions ( 15 miles)
Smoky Mountain National Park where there are breathtaking views of the mountains, and nature watch. I even spotted elks several times there! (18miles).
Y'all know how much I love the Smokies! I visit there several times a year; it's like a second home to us! It's always my first recommendation when people ask me where to take their family on vacation.
