There is a new show happening now at the Center for Puppetry Arts that you can not miss! It's so good that even Lauren admitted that this puppet show is by far the best she has seen out of all the shows we saw so far at the center!
Prepare for a wild adventure beneath a Brazilian treetop canopy, courtesy of toucans, anacondas, sloths and more! Playing January 23-March 4, Rainforest Adventures is an up-close look at a day in the life of animals living in one of the most amazing, mysterious places on earth. Explorers of all ages will experience Brazilian-inspired music as they come face-to-face with more than 30 exotic plants and animals that inhabit the Amazonian ecosystem.
I love the fact that children, as well as adults, can learn about different animals in the rainforest. Each animal that appears on set is announced what they are, and I must say, I didn't do too bad, I knew quite a bit of the animals in the show. The girls knew almost all of them.
We smiled, we laughed, the perfect show to see during a cold rainy day here in Atlanta. Fun, and educational, learning about the ecosystems, animal biology, and world geography.
Before the show, the girls and I got to see real living tropical frogs, we got up close and personal, learning about their habitat. I'm a huge fan of frogs, love seeing all the beautiful glowing colors, sizes, and them hopping all over the place! They are fascinating creatures.

I am a total nature freak. I would have loved to learn about all those exotic animals.
