Returning for a 10-year milestone, Madeline’s Christmas will bring merriment and cheer to Horizon Theatre, December 2-31! A festive treat for those of all ages, families are invited to join Madeline and friends for a magical musical adaption of Ludwig Bemelmans’ classic children’s tale. Featuring 24 local girls performing alongside professional actors in collaboration with The Atlanta Children’s Theatre Company, this show is enjoyable for children and adults alike!

In the production’s 10-year history, more than 220 local girls have realized their dream of performing with a professional theatre company as part of the Madeline’s Christmas cast. This year’s cast features girls, ages 8 to 13, from five metro Atlanta counties and 19 different schools.

STORY

The girls and I went to see this adorable show last year and returned for an encore this year.  The Madeline production is just as heart-warming, funny, and witty as what we saw last year.  Now, this show has become the girls' and I holiday tradition.

I'm so impressed by the talent of all girls; I can tell they worked hard to put on a marvelous show for their audience.

We've been attending many different plays lately, and Michelle has started catching the acting bug.  She said she could see herself joining the Madeline cast performing on stage.  Michelle wants to see her name in bright lights some day.

Hey, you never know, you may see Michelle on a stage near you!

Madeline’s Christmas will run December 2-31. Performances are weekends at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. with additional school day matinee and holiday week show times. Tickets are $12 for children and $15 for adults. Tickets and information are available at horizontheatre.com or 404.584.7450.
