Spring break is creeping up quickly here in Atlanta, and I can't wait to soak up some warm sun and hang loose with my crew!
It's been a minute since I've last taken a trip somewhere, over two months to be exact, so I'm a bit overdue for a vacation.
Since I'm getting all squared away for my spring break trip that's coming up, I'm looking back to my previous trips just in case you're undecided where you want to go for spring break.
I know many of you may have already had your spring break, but keep in mind that summer break is soon to come too and these places I visited are great to travel to with your family.
St. Croix, USVI- No passport needed if you're a US citizen. Beautiful picturesque warm turquoise water, sandy white sand, St. Croix is a tropical destination for those looking for relaxation without all the crowds. Friendly people, great food, with views you thought you would only find on postcards.
Myrtle Beach, SC- Myrtle Beach is the vacation resort on South Carolina’s Atlantic coast, the hub of the Grand Strand, with 60-mile string of beaches. A lot of entertainment fun for the whole family like arcades, an amusement park, Ferris wheel, restaurants along the beach, shops, golf, and a lot more!
Orlando, FL- Orlando is like the granddaddy of them all when it comes to family vacations. From Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, even budget-friendly amusement parks, Orlando is one of the best places to take a family trip. Never a dull moment. Beaches are a short drive away.
The Smoky Mountains, TN- Looking to save some money on your family trip, The Smoky Mountains is the place to be. Disney-like amusement park and waterpark at Dollywood, just that it's a wilderness theme and smaller, but still a lot of fun. There is a Vegas-like strip from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg chalk full of family entertainment, with arcades, race tracks, museums, shops, restaurants galore! If your family is the adventurous type, you can plan a cabin trip at The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, go on hiking trails while checking out the gorgeous scenic views and wildlife.
Atlanta, GA- Hey, it's nothing like staying local! Atlanta is full of culture, with museums, Downtown Atlanta has great restaurants, massive size Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, Children's Museum of Atlanta, different venues and festivals happening every weekend, the list goes on. I'm still exploring my city because I haven't done it all.
Thank you for the wonderful Spring Break getaway suggestions. I hope you and your posse have fun soaking up the sun! I will be in the Nation's Capital enjoying the beautiful cherry blossoms for Spring Break 2017. #ProductReviewMom @missloumae #LouidatheBlogger
