Hey Yall! I hope you had a great weekend. Did you do anything fun and exciting?
Over a week ago, my good pal Kita from ItsReallyKita.com came up to my neck of the woods to snap some updated photos of the girls and me.
I'm over a year overdue getting some professional lifestyle family shots done for the blog, so glad I got that done and out of the way.
I didn't want overly photoshopped photos looking like it came straight out of an ad, I want to show how my life really is with my girls.
My girls are tweens, and we're not a perfect family without flaws. We get pissed at each other, annoyed, want to strangle one another, but we just can't live without each other.
Me!
Me, I'm full of laughter, smiles, wanting to take on an adventure. I may seem sweet and reserved, but you step on my bad side considered yourself cut, done, finish! No Negative Nancy's around me. No, ma'am! As I'm getting older, I find my happy place and sanity by checking out home decor shows, quiet walks in the mall window shopping, having Day Dates with Mr. M, and trying different cuisines. Oh, the good life!
Lauren!
Lauren, quiet, reserved, doesn't want to be bothered, gets tired of taking picture after picture. It was hard to get Lauren to smile; she just wasn't having it. I have to bribe her or make her laugh to get a decent halfway smile. At times she is emotionless, saying that she is bored, or quickly walking away from Michelle and I because we're embarrassing her with our weirdo antics in public. Lauren is into anime with a collection of anime books and figurines all over her room. What she told me that would make her smile from ear to ear would be a trip to Tokyo, Japan, and a cell phone! OY!
Michelle!
Michelle, full of personality! This girl is the chick you want to have in your Girl Circle. Life of the party, emoji obsessed, fashion princess. The leader of her Girl Squad. Everywhere we go in town, Michelle has friends stopping her in public for chit chat. When we're out and about, no matter where we go Michelle have to bust out doing a cartwheel. We can be in a grocery store, the mall, or museum; if there is an open space, you'll see her doing her two-handed flips. Silly girl! She stays camera ready, she is made for the big screen!
Check Out More Photos of Us!
I've met some incredible people thanks to blogging and social media, and Kita happens to be one of them. Her "I'm Not Taking Shat," attitude, is why I respect her. She's strong, tell it as it is, what you see is what you get, funny as hell, she had me hollarin' as you can tell in my photos! She is just like she is online, no fake shat.
Make sure to check her blog out, sharing her "No Fluff Views" and also hit her up if you're in the Atlanta area needing branding photos.
Wow it's amazing to watch the girls grow up into beautiful young ladies. It definitely wasn't warm enough to be out and about here in Delaware. Glad you guys had fun, have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteI know right Sis! My girls are growing up way too fast!
