Hey Yall!  Yesterday evening, my family and I (including Mr. M) went to Brookhaven here in Atlanta to attend “Spring Into Green” organic beauty preview at Julian’s Cosmetics & Skincare.

At the event, BioRepublic Skincare showcased their spring/summer line of all-natural sheet masks (cucumber, green tea, pomegranate, aloe) and their new “lost baggage” undereye emergency kits.  Perfect for summer travel!

Everyone was walking around with under eye patches on, with hors d'oeuvre in their hands, while enjoying a sip of wine.

Now me, I didn't want to wash off the makeup that was already on my face to put on under eye patches or masks, so I toured around the store to checking out their wide variety of beauty products while munching on the lite bites.  Here I am, like a kid in a candy store wanting everything on the shelves!  My inner product junkie senses were tingling!

Never have I been to this part of town, I loved the atmosphere of the location, lots of shops, restaurants, and retail stores.  It looks like I've been missing out on a great place to visit here in Atlanta.  I've been stuck in my little bubble more up north away from the ATL lately.  I need to start getting out more touring around the city, Atlanta sure does have a lot to offer.

I came out good at the event receiving fabulous gift bags filled with product samples, gift cards, and sheet mask/undereye kits, plus I couldn't resist when I saw they sell BECCA beauty products I just had to stock up on some foundation.  Currently, I have been trying out different foundations for my face because the bareMinerals powders have been creating a mess on my bathroom countertops, so I've been testing out different makeup to use.

Lauren got some stuff for herself too, some handmade soap and hair barrettes.  She wanted makeup too, but no, she is still too young to be walking around with a face full of blushes and powders.  Now, I let her and Michelle get away with lip gloss and painted nails, but that's it.  I didn't start wearing makeup until I was 15/16 years old and I'm going to keep it that way with them.  Don't need to have my girls walking around the place grown.  No siree!

Michelle had an attitude because I wouldn't let her get a lipstick.  Oh well!  She can pout all she wants; she is way too young.  She better get her one of those facial masks or under eye patches and get happy!  Humph!

  1. This looks like a great event to attend. I don't have girls so no makeup advice on that front lol. However, I must say the candle display definitely caught my attention.

  5. Wow! You are always invited to some really great events. I love, love, love SmashBox cosmetics. SmashBox was at an event I attended a little over a year ago, and they gave me a wonderful makeover. Their products are reasonably priced. The organic products for skin care are the way to go. #ProductReviewParty
