Hey Yall!  This past weekend, I made sure to spend special time with the girls since they didn't get to come with Mr. M and I to Puerto Rico.  I dubbed it the extension to my birthday celebration.

The girls and I went to Genghis Grill for my birthday dinner, went to Ulta to pick up my birthday freebie which was golden glittery eyeshadow, then went to Von Maur at Mall of Georgia to look for myself a birthday gift, but instead the girls trick me into buying them shoes.  LOL!

Sunday, the family and I went to church, then headed to Children's Museum of Atlanta to check out their newest exhibit, Magic Tree House.

Young explorers branch out through three periods of American history including the first Thanksgiving, the Civil War and life on the prairie circa 1870. Guided by Jack and Annie, two ordinary siblings from Frog Creek, Penn., children of all ages will exercise their imaginations with interactive activities and simulations via a magical, time-traveling tree house!

It has been since 2014 that the girls and I been to Children's Museum of Atlanta, I thought they have now outgrown it that's why we haven't been back.  But I was wrong; the girls had a fabulous time letting their imaginations take flight.

Also, I noticed that the museum had been remodeled inside with more things to do, see, and learn.  Fun for all ages!  Hands-on learning is the best!

As for the new exhibit, it was like walking into a storybook that came to life, each section of the exhibit tells a story.  Michelle mentioned that she read the Magic Tree House books at school, so she knew what everything was about.

Children can dress up like the characters in the stories, make a pretend Thanksgiving meal, attend school during the old days, go to the doctor to fix their make believe wounds, etc.

I'm happy my family and I received this invite because we would've missed out on this great event.  If you're in the Atlanta area, make sure to visit Children's Museum of Atlanta.

Disclosure:  We were provided tickets free to see the new exhibit, as always, all thoughts and opinions are our own.

  3. I love Children's Museums and we have a very nice one here in Delaware as well. As a matter of fact, they host a lot of events there as well. Glad the girls are still young enough to enjoy these outings. Have a wonderful weekend #ProductReviewParty
