Hey Yall!  Guess what?  The Atlanta International Auto Show will be here in downtown Atlanta March 9th-13th, 2016.  I'm very excited about this because this will be my first auto show I ever attended!


With me reviewing cars on this blog, this will help expand my knowledge more about different vehicles that are out on the market today and what's to come in 2017.


This annual show will showcase over 400 new 2016 import and domestic cars, light trucks, vans, and sports utility vehicles.  There will be Factory and Dealer Representatives on hand to answer questions.

  • Largest public event for area auto dealers.
  • Vehicles to suit every budget.
  • A wide variety of styles: luxury cars, exotics, economy cars, family cars, sports cars, hybrids, electric vehicles, convertibles, limited production cars, light trucks, vans and 4-wheel drive vehicles.





Participating Lines: Acura, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jeep, KIA, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Mini, Nissan, Ram, Scion, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagen.



You'll also be able to see 2017 Pre-Production, Concept, and Limited Production Vehicles that includes:  2017 Audi R8, 2017 Buick LaCrosse, 2017 Cadillac XT5, 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Minivan, 2017 Ford Escape, 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor, 2017 F-250, 2017 Ford Fusion, 2017 GMC Acadia, 2017 Hyundai Elantra, 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe, 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.



Special Attractions will be happening at this event:




Ride & Drive Events:  Fiat-Chrysler (Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, and Ram), Ford, GM (Buick, Chevrolet and GMC), Honda, KIA, Mazda, and Toyota will all be conducting special Ride & Drive events at the show.




Spider-Man and Ant-Man:  These two awesome MARVEL superheroes will appear at the Auto Show on Saturday, March 12th, and Sunday, March 13th.




Scooby-Doo:  This popular cartoon character will appear at the show on Saturday, March 12th, and Sunday, March 13th, courtesy of Comcast Spotlight.




Meet The Walkers: Meet Atlanta-based actors who have appeared on AMC's popular television series, The Walking Dead- March 11th-13th.




Fox5 Storm Chaser: This is the most advanced mobile weather lab and live TV production vehicle in the Southeast.  The vehicle is equipped with the latest broadcast and meteorological technology to provide life-saving information to viewers about dangerous weather.




Cool Cruisers:  There will be a display of vintage vehicles from the 20th Century in the show lobby and inside the show.




Caffeine & Exotics:  Premier car show for exotic and high-performance cars.

DISCOUNT PARKING DAYS

The Georgia World Congress Center is offering a $3.00 discount off public parking on March 9 & 10 ONLY in their Yellow or Gold Parking Lots on Northside Drive. To receive this discount, attendees must tell the parking attendant that they are attending the Auto Show.





SENIORS DAY

All Seniors 55 and older can show their identification of age at the show box office on Thursday, March 10 only, and receive a 50% discount off the $10.00 Adult Admission. These same seniors can also save 50% on parking by showing their identification of age at the entrance of the Yellow Lot of the Georgia World Congress Center on Northside Dr. This offer cannot be combined with any other discount offer for this day.





COLLEGE DAY

All college students can show their student id’s at the show box office on Friday, March 11 only, and receive a 50% discount off the $10.00 Adult Admission. They can also save 50% on parking by showing their student id’s at the entrance of the Yellow Park Lot of the Georgia World Congress Center on Northside Dr. This offer cannot be combined with any other discount offer for this day.

  2. Hi Lou, I have taken my son to the show for the last few years. It's alot of fun to see all the latest n greatest rides. I'll especially be checking out Toyota. My son is more interested in the gaming trucks and new features...have fun!
