When romance is in the air, you better not dare be found too busy to spend time with your boo. It’s also about knowing what he/she likes, but when it comes to a good old-fashioned romance movie, you can’t go too far wrong with these selections. They will make you laugh and cry all at the same time!

Here are my top 6 favorite romance movies to watch with your boo.

In this movie, a couple is hit by Cupid’s arrow in their teens. They are forcefully separated by actions of their parents. Yet years later they come across each other again and they discover that their love hasn’t diminished a bit.

See love through the years with the Notebook.

Watch either the Keira Knightley one or the BBC one. They are both as good as each other. Although this is as romantic as ever, Mr. Darcy is one of the least romantic men in the country at the time. He’s rather terrible at it, but it’s an interesting and adorable story all the same.

This is a more serious love story, so if you are still a lover of a traditional man, you will fall in love with Mr. Darcy.

The movie opens with the man taking his wife for granted. This selfish man discovers that his wife has had enough and she’s thinking about leaving. Reality hits him and he decides to go through a period of reconciliation. He changes his ways and declares his unconditional love.

Depending on whom you watch this with, it could be a good evening or a time to send a message that someone needs to alter their behavior.

A husband dies young and his widow is left in a tizzy as her life has turned upside down. She begins asking many questions, even wondering whether she can love again or whether she just has to get on with her life.

She finds someone she thinks about, but it doesn’t come out until they’ve made love an discovered how compatible they are.

Princess Bride is a movie that both adults and children can enjoy. Robin Wright performs spectacularly as Buttercup and there are many iconic lines you will never forget. It’s a new definition of romance, and for that reason alone this should be in your top 5.

I had to add an oldie to this list before we ended the post. You will see references to this legendary romance flick all throughout a range of well-known shows, including Sleepless in Seattle.

In addition, if you still don’t have a reason to watch it, look at the fact that it’s managed to stand the test of time.

You can create the right atmosphere with many romance flicks. This list gives you many movies for the traditional romantic, while also having a look into more modern relationships. Many of these movies are fun for all the family.

Which movie will you watch?

I've never seen "An Affair To Remember," or "P.S. I Love You." I'll have to check both of those movies out. I'm a sucker for romantic movies and I cry a lot! lololol!!! Great list!
