Hey Yall!  How has the new year been treating you?  Have you still been managing to keep your resolutions?  I usually don't do New Year Resolutions; however, this year is different since I have more time to get things done and do things I've been neglecting like exercising.  Since I'm home now, there is no excuse not to get back in shape again, so I joined a gym.  Now, I just need to make it a habit to go several times a week, or I'll be just wasting my money, and I hate losing money.

Thanks to exercising and eating better, my skin has been making a vast improvement.  I suffer from dark marks due to acne, and my marks have been fading naturally, I even been going out the house without makeup at times.  Mr. M even mentioned to me about the difference with my skin, on how it's looking more healthier and clearer.

Even though my skin is improving, Mother Nature seems to want my skin to stay a mess with all this freezing weather.  What happen to the warmth we were having in December?  I was enjoying it.  I guess Mother Nature wanted to be a tease, and I'm not liking how she got my skin looking dry and ashy.

I got to give two of my favorite brands all the praises for helping keep my skin in check during this harsh winter.  What brands do I speak of?  They're derma e and Savannah Bee Company!

Both companies offer all natural skin care products that are nourishing to the skin, yet good for your skin using only natural ingredients.

Over the holidays, they both gifted me skincare products they knew I would love.

I heard about derma e thanks to blogging.  They gave me a box filled with their skincare goodies over a year ago, and I adore all of them. Even though their prices are high, I feel it's worth every penny.  Their skincare products work extremely well with my skin, and also, derma e helps clear up my acne too to reveal softer smoother skin.  My skin gives off a natural glow now.

I got to meet some of derma e's crew in Las Vegas last summer, and they gifted me with goodies while there, as well as told me how much they love bloggers.  Bloggers have been giving their company raving reviews lately, and they appreciate us.  I admire them for creating a skincare line without harsh chemicals that won't damage my skin in the long run like other skincare products out there.  It's great to see they're now in Target stores and Ultra Beauty, no longer do I have to purchase their products online and pay to ship, also, I do not have to go to natural foods stores that bump up their prices.

Savannah Bee, I found out about while visiting Savannah for Lauren's birthday a couple of years back.  Their honey is sweet, rich, and creamy that I like adding to my biscuits I make Sunday mornings, and adding a few drops to sweeten up my chai teas.

My favorite from Savannah Bee is their Royal Jelly Body Butter.  This super sweet body butter is nutrient-rich and protects my skin in the cold weather.  I only have to apply it once on my skin and my skin is good to go throughout the day.  They have me feeling like the queen that I am.  Hehe!  Their chapstick is very delightful too, glides on and keeps my lips from becoming chapped.

If you're looking for skincare products to help your skin survive during the winter, derma e and Savannah Bee Company are the best.  I'm telling you; you'll love them both and no I wasn't paid to say this, I'm serious!

Have you tried these two brands?

    1. Thanks Janet! Once you buy the products let me know what you think. Look at me, I'm about to have you spending all your money recommending all these products. LOL!

As for dark spot fade cream,I use to use Ambi since it was for ethic skin and it was okay, didn't see much of a difference. To me, I think facial scrubs works well with fading dark marks because they help scrub away dead skin revealing new, healthier skin. And overtime this will help start fading away the dark marks. Also, drink a lot of water and keep your face moisturized. If you have oily skin, you can use a moisturizer at nights before you go to bed.

    1. I feel it is good for people with eczema since it doesn't have chemicals that will irritate the skin. My oldest daughter has it and eczema affects her skin during the winter and summer months, she can't use products with perfumes.

  4. I haven't tried either company, but apparently I need to as my skin has been horrible lately. I have been wearing concealer daily to hide the zits (well as much as possibly lol). I will definitely be looking into them. #ProductReviewParty

  9. I've been seeing a lot of talk about Derma-E lately. I think the charcoal mask sounds awesome. I'm loving how charcoal has been working on my yucky hormonal skin so I bet the mask would be amazing!
