Summer Skin Care Secrets to Help You Maintain Your Youthful and Glowing Skin

Summer Skin Care Secrets to Help You Maintain Your Youthful and Glowing Skin via www.productreviewmom.com

Depending on what part of the country you live in, the summer can be brutal on your delicate skin, especially the skin on your face. While everyone should use sunscreen to block the sun's damaging UV rays on their entire body, we're going to focus on your face. Check out these skin care secrets that will help you maintain your youthful and glowing skin this summer.

1. Make your own skin refreshing mist.

You can also buy refreshing mist from your local retailer, but those are often filled with parabens and other yucky chemicals. A skin refreshing mist can be used to rehydrate and freshen your makeup or to give you a reprieve on a hot and humid day.

Aloe Hydrating Mist
Ingredients:
1/3 cup distilled water
2 teaspoons aloe vera
1 tsp witch hazel
4 oz spray bottle

Directions:
Pour all ingredients into your spray bottle and shake well. Mist away!

2. Wear Oversized Sunglasses Often

Oversized shades are not only fashionable, but they block the sun from your delicate under eye area to prevent Crow's Feet. Double duty!

3. Change Your Pillow Case

All the moisturizers, makeup and hair products create build up on a pillow in a short amount of time. This can cause breakouts and acne. Do yourself a favor and keep a fresh stack of pillowcases under your bed or nearby for easy access!

4. Green Tea Ice Cubes For Under Eye Bags

Had a wild or stressful night or didn't get much sleep? Boil some green tea and put it an ice tray and let it freeze. The green tea and ice combo is naturally anti-inflammatory and will also help brighten dark circles.

  3. Great point about the sunglasses. I do a lot to protect my eyes, beacause I think they tell my age. But, I never thought about sunglasses to protect them. Good tip!
