Duo Ultra Salt and Pepper Grinder by Ozeri Review. Great for Seasoning Food

Duo Ultra Salt and Pepper Grinder by OzeriI was contacted by Ozeri to try out their Duo Salt and Pepper Grinder.  They gave me a complimentary grinder to give my honest opinion.

I actually never used a seasoning grinder before but have had my waiters in restaurants grind pepper and salt on my salads.  To me, whole black pepper and salt rocks freshly grinded gives off a more flavorful taste than the average peppers and salts you find in stores.  I never known why I didn't just purchase myself a grinder for my home but glad I now have one.

My grinder arrived in the mail earlier this week and I had to stop by the store to pick up whole pepper and salt to add to it.  Wednesday I went to Kroger and picked up the wrong pepper and salt because it had a already built in grinder- I need to start reading the labels.  Thursday I went to Publix and found the right pepper and salt that I needed.

When I went home, I read the direction to pour in both the pepper and salt.  Here is what I did:

1. Remove Top Lid

2. Remove O-Ring ( I accidentally threw this away but was suppose to keep this)

3. Remove Bottom Lid

4. Attach Bottom Lid to Top of Chamber

5. Align Funnel to Pepper or Salt

6. Add Pepper to Pepper Chamber

7. Add Salt to Salt Chamber

8. Reassemble for Use

Video below shows how to use the Duo Grinder.

Following these steps and looking at the illustration on the instructions made it easy for me to set up my grinder.

When I turn the dial on the grinder left, the pepper starts to come out and when I turn the dial right, salt starts to come out.  I felt like not much was coming out as I would like out  the grinder- maybe because I threw away the O-Ring.

Is Duo Ultra Salt and Pepper Grinder by Ozeri Worth a Try?

It's a good grinder if you prefer to grind your own pepper and salt.  It was pretty easy to use and took me about 3 mins to set up and then start grinding.  But to be honest, I feel like the dial part of the grinder is cheaply made and won't last long, but I could be wrong.  I like the fact that the grinder is stainless steel.
