I live in Atlanta area, and the weather here is hot and humid which makes my daughter's hair very dry since they're outside most the day at school.
While browsing in the African American organic section, I've seen that Shea Moisture has an hair oil called Organic Raw Shea Butter Reconstructive Elixir.
On the bottle it states that it helps dry hair and help repair damaged hair. Also the bottle said that the oil helps heal, grow, and strengthens hair. The oil contains Sea kelp, Argan Oil, and Shea Butter.
I've used some of Shea Moisture's products before and I like most of their products so I went ahead and bought the oil.
When it was wash day for my daughters, after their hair was wash, conditioned, and styled, I sprayed the oil on their hair strands from roots to tip.
I noticed their hair had much more shine to it and had a sweet smell that reminds me of a sunflower for some reason. Also their hair had a silky feel to it.
After a full day of having the Organic Raw Shea Butter Reconstructive Elixir in my daughter's hair, when they came home their hair was still soft and shiny. Also after a few days of use, I've noticed their hair seem to be a bit stronger.
I started using the oil myself and I'm impress how it leaves my hair so shiny! After using heat appliances, I spray the oil to my dry hair.
The oil is not oily, unless you spray a whole lot in your hair. Now I haven't noticed my hair grow anymore then it normally does, but the oil does strengthens it and seals in moisture.

Is Shea Moisture Organic Raw Shea Butter Reconstructive Elixir Worth a Try?
The hair oil is worth a try but I must say the smell is a bit strong and you'll notice the smell all day in your hair. Whenever my daughters passes me, I can smell the oil.
So if you don't mind the strong sweet smell, you'll like the product.
